最初に言っておきますが、この☆2つの評価は原作の頭の体操の評価ではありません。それ自体のすばらしさはレイトン教授でも実証済みですので。 私の☆2つの評価理由はズバリ"ゲーム性の存在"です。
この作品には正解、不正解の判定というものがありません。問題文を読み考え、自分の解答を導き出してもそれが正解かどうかは"答えを見なければわかりません"つまり正解だろうが不正解だろうが問答無用で終わって次の問題に移行してしまうのです。

もちろん問題の中には明確な答えを表現しにくい(判定しづらい)ものがたくさんあるためなのはわかりますし、普通に本で遊べば答え合わせは答えを見なければなりません。

レイトンのように解答が短い数字ゃ単純なかな文字なら正解判定も容易ですが(その分問題の難易度はこちらのほうが若干上)。 また明確な正解判定がないため、正解のような不正解のような中途半端な気分になってしまうことも多く感じられました(これは私の脳が悪いのですが)。

せっかく世界一周ゃ宇宙旅行のようなクリア意欲を高める要素があっても、核となる問題自体にクリア要素がなければゲームとしてはまったく意味がないように感じられました。 マッチ棒を使ったような謎解きならば正解判定くらいはできるはずです。レイトンシリーズのように頭の体操シリーズ自体のおもしろさとゲーム性の両立ができている作品を作れるのであればゲーム機で出す以上、アナログ(本)にはない付加価値(ゲーム性)をもっと取り込んで作ってほしいように感じます。 問題自体はとても質のいいものだと思います。 読みづらい長文失礼しました。

「頭の体操」の書籍に関しては素晴らしいと思います。しかしこれを無理やりゲームソフト化した理由がまったく感じられない内容でした。ただのデジタル書籍ですねこれでは。ゲーム性は皆無です。あと問題が出題されても、すぐ答えを見れてしまうし、必死で考えようとする気力も損なわれます。これで3200円は高いですね。残念です。
