前作の「ライヴ・アポカリプス」もいい内容だったのですが、
今回のSTUDIO COASTでのライヴDVDも非常にいい出来にあります。

前作との違いは、音質がかなり良くなっています。
こういった混沌とした音楽の場合、たいがい音が潰れてしまうものですが
この作品はCDの収録もあったせいなのでしょうか、異様なくらい音の分離が良くて、
各パートの音がハッキリと聴こえてきます。ギターの音は特に優秀。
これは、相当スタッフが頑張ったようですね。
ライティングは、前作に比べて明るめなので、個々の演奏が観やすいです。
楽器を演奏される方には、いい教材になるのではないでしょうか？
ダニエルのドラミング、スティックさばきもよく映っています。

メンバーのパフォーマンスも文句無し。
来日に合わせてコンディションを整えてきたのでしょう、素晴らしいです！
彼らは、ホントに日本が好きなんですね（笑）有難いことです。

メンバーのインタビューがおまけとして入っていますが、なかなか面白くて
見入ってしまいました。日本の紹介ビデオみたいになっていて、結構ウケます。
何か、映像が古臭くて何とも言えない雰囲気があります。日本はやっぱりアジアです。
神社をバックにインタビュー・・・ナイスなセンスですよ（笑）

日本のファンのためだけに出したというよりは、日本とは、日本のファンとは
こんなんですよ〜みたいなのを知ってもらいたくて作ったような、そんな内容です。

※当日の盛り上がりは半端無く、私は後ろの方で大人しく観ていましたが
日本のHM/HRシーンも、まだまだ捨てたもんじゃないなと再認識しました。
音の良さは特筆もの。結局、CDも買いました（苦笑）

本作は前作よりライブ感増量になってて凄く良いです。

その違いは前作より解像度の高い映像がライブの生々しさを伝えています。

お馴染みのアンディー・スニープのミックスもCDより有利なDVDフォーマットを生かしたいい仕事をしいて各パートの分離も良いです。

高い画質と迫力の音でテレビの前でヘド・バン出来るほどのメタルDVDをお探しの方にお勧めしたいです。

しかし、これもバンドのライブパフォーマンスが強力だからで、伝統的なメタルをルーツに持つ懐の深さを伝えるメタリカ以降のバンド中では別格の証明をしているのではないでしょうか。

以上の理由で本作を観ればアーク・エネミーの人気が判ると思いますよ。

アルバムでは批判の多いアンジェラですが、フロントマンとしてのパフォーマンスは凄いの一言。

所々入る余計な白黒画像カットが余計でその分だけ割り引いて星4評価ですが、それ以外は最高の作品で、メタルDVDのマストアイテム間違い無し!

このツアーの大阪公演行きましたが、音響も演奏もこのバンドでは考えられないくらい酷かったです。
それだけにこのDVDを楽しみにしていました。（セットリストも若干違いますね）
彼らの高い演奏能力については説明不要と思いますが、特にクリス＆ダニエルは完璧です。

だからこそ大阪公演がヘロヘロだったのが納得いかないです…
アンジェラも年取った！と感じる程首の振り方が甘かったし、プロフェッショナルなトコを見せて欲しかったです。

とは言え、このDVDには何の問題もありません。この日に行った人はラッキーだった、と。
