過大評価、私的評価をぬきにして(自分自身ミスチルのファンではないです)、ただただ「あー、良いアルバムだった。」と本当に素直に思えた一枚。 ジャンルがうんぬん、歌い方がうんぬん、演奏がうんぬん、なんやかんやはよくわからないけど、 一つだけ言えるのは、ただ、普通に、素直に、良いアルバム、良い作品だ。という事。 人間の絶望や弱さ、ずるさ、汚さを知ってるからこそ産まれた、明るく前向きで、そして切なくはかない曲達。 一つのフレーズに、その何倍もの意味がこもっている。そして、音楽が大好きだって気持ちが溢れてる気がする。 間違いなく、自分の中ではミスチルのアルバムの中で、だんとつのNo1です。 素直に、聴いてよかったと思った。間違いない事実は、ミスチルはやっぱり、名実ともに、日本を代表するミュージシャンだという事でしょう。

正直、最近の「HOME」あたりからのMr.Childrenはあまり好きになれなかった。
たしかに「HOME」は良い曲がたくさんあるが、曲も歌声もキレイすぎたのだ。
「HOME」には、アルバム「Q」や「深海」「Discovery」のころのような深みがなかった。

今回のアルバムにも不安があった。

しかし、このアルバムの一曲目「終末のコンフィデンスソング」を聴いて不安が打ち砕かれた。


これを待っていたのだ!


ただ昔のMr.Childrenに戻っているようなわけではない、さらに進化しているのだ。
Mr.Childrenは新しい舞台に踏み出したような気もする。


しかも捨て曲がない!どの曲も素晴らしい。

とくに「口がすべって」が良かった。

買う価値は充分にあります。

ここにきて、ミスチルの最高傑作のアルバムになったかもしれないと
思いました。
何度聞いても、本当にいい曲だなぁと感じています。

昔のような、ダーティな内面を押し出した曲はなくなってしまったようで、ファンからすると、もの足りないかもしれないけど、それ以上に、
力強いメッセージがあると思いました。

ＨＡＮＡＢＩの「だけど素敵な明日を願っている」を聞くと、もう一回、もう一回、頑張ろうという気になります。
