　“亀山卒業”という、相棒の片割れが今シーズンでいなくなるという衝撃のニュースで始まったシーズンだけに、TV放映時はなかなか冷静になれなかったですね。そりゃあね、土曜ワイドの頃から見ているファンとしては、亀山卒業の理由もとってつけたように表層的だし、過去シーズンから描かれている様々な“伏線の回収“もなし。いくつか平均点以下の作品もあるし、BGMにも違和感と、不満な点はたくさんあって、文句なしに★5とはいかないのも事実。けどねぇ…。

　そう、あらためて放映リストを見てみると、やはりこのドラマ、そんじょそこらのドラマとは作りこみが違う。面白いものはやはり面白いんですよ！白眉は（8）。これだけでも買う価値ありの、相棒史上5本の指に入る傑作。「還流」ってタイトルが深〜い（1）（2）（これは2時間でまとめたら、屈指の名作になったんだけどなぁ…）、亀山卒業のグダグダを除けば、実に素晴らしい（9）〜（10）、将棋の世界という、相棒でなければ描かれないであろう、地味でやるせない（6）など、やはり力作揃いですよ。

　まもなく新相棒を迎えて、Season8がはじまるわけですが、“第1章”の締めくくりとして、手元に置いておきたい一品ですね。（亀山クランクアップシーンとか、特典映像につかないかなぁ）

ハイビジョン放送していたのでＤＶＤのほかにＢＤ（ブルーレイ）発売もしてほしかったなぁ。地デジ内蔵型のＨＤＤレコーダー録画のほうがキレイな画質なんだよなぁ、というところが引っ掛かる。ただやめて欲しいのが購入後直後にＢＤ発売すること、いままでの傾向からして…それが怖い、安くはないですからね。いまのところseason 6はＢＤ出していないので購入しますが…。
