昔から大切に保管されている方からすれば、何だか釈然としない悔しい企画だとは思いますし、味気ないと言われればその通りです。

ただ、当時全くコンプリート出来ないままいつの間にか捨てられてしまった自分としては、カードに隠された謎かけなどに改めて気付かされるなど、新たな発見もあってなかなか良かったです。

ちなみに、買う前までは第一段から第四段と言われてもピンときませんでしたが、第一段は“Z”の付く前、悟空がまだ小さい頃の『格闘技大決戦』というシリーズで、今見ると絵のクオリティがちょっと低いかも…。

第二段から絵のクオリティは上がりますが、まだ“Z”の前、マジュニアが登場する『天下一武道会編』。カードデザインもその後のものとは異なっています。

そして、第三段からようやく“Z”に。個人的には、この『激闘!サイヤ人編』からグッと懐かしさが込み上げてきます。「あったな〜、コレ」みたいな。実は激レアだったという“アラレちゃんカード”もここにあります。

第四段は『大激闘!!ナメック星編』。と言っても、フリーザのキラカードが一枚あるだけで、実際にはまだ地球でのベジータ戦がメイン。事実上のナメック星編は第五段以降となるようで、次も間違いなく買ってしまうでしょう。

書き下ろしカードなどのオマケに関しては、あまり期待しない方がいいです。バインダーもイマイチでした。

本来はコアなマニア向けのコレクターズアイテムとしてリリースする予定の商品だったと思われるのですが（定価1万円はそう気軽に出せる額では無いので）、この価格で販売されている現状を考えると、ライトユーザの方にも買い求め安くオススメと言えます。
1弾あたり42枚＋新規描きおろしカードが１枚。これが１〜４弾まで収録されているので、１弾あたりの価格は1000円以下です。販売当時でも42枚を揃えるには平均2〜3000円の投資が必要だったため、この価格で極美品が手に入るのはファンには堪らないのでは。

また、専用のバインダーも付いており、カードを１枚１枚収納していく作業は思わず童心に帰ってワクワクできる事うけあいです。定価の1万円ならともかく、この価格なら気軽に開封して遊べるのもいいですね。定価で購入された方には気の毒ですが。

近日中に第２弾がバンダイ公式サイトでのみ限定発売されるそうなので、今後のシリーズは値崩れする事はなさそうです。
