「聴き終わった時に、作品のCDだけでもストーリーが伝わるようにしたい」by住友氏（ブックレットより）


原作ファンで、アニメも別物として楽しんでいる者です。

「屍姫」のアニメで、特筆して良い部分を挙げるなら音楽でしょう。
キャラクターの改変など、原作ファンとして不満点もあるアニメですが、
OP・ED、BGMなど音楽に関しては期待以上の出来で満足してます！！
（残念ですがこのサントラにはOP/EDは収録されてません。OPの歌なしアレンジはあります）

死を描くとはいえあくまで中高生向けの少年漫画である原作に対し、
アニメはもう少し上の年齢層（大学生〜社会人）向けに描いている感じを受けます。
音楽もそれに合わせてか、派手さは無いものの生命の儚さ、切なさや、
人の心の闇を感じさせる上質のサウンドとなっています。

「屍姫」をお好きな方には、是非聴いて頂きたい１枚です。

豪華にストリングスを使い、劇場版レベルの音楽を惜しげも無く使っている屍姫。ギターデュオのいちむじん、アルパやパーカッションの使い方などEVAの鷺洲さんを思い出しました。スタチャの本気のBGMなのではないでしょうか？

2008・2009ワーストアニメです。声優は素人を使い。作画のクオリティは、毎回違う顔で纏まらず、ガイナ独特の顔に変えられてます。
画面も暗くて夜の場面が見にくいのと、全体的な色合いが悪いです。脚本や演出に至っては、原作の良い部分を取ったオリジナル。屍姫と言えばグロ描写が一つの売りなのに、アニメは監督の判断により省かれたソフトに仕上がっています。また敵である屍(ゾンビ)は怪物に変更され、戦隊シリーズのような演出。
まぁマシガンや刀を使うセーラームーンみたいな物です。
今、原作者がこのアニメを見てどう思ってるのが聞きたいです。
アニメ化が決まっ時のコメントが凄く喜んでいただけに、可哀想でなりません。
