前作「Contact」でのインパクトがまだ記憶に新しい、茅原実里のリスタート2ndアルバム。
硬質でクールな印象だった前作に対し、今作は暖かさや柔らかさを取り入れたことが伺える。
とは言っても、前作からそう遠く離れたわけではなく、前作を踏襲しつつ、新しい風味を加えようという意欲を感じる。

前作での疾走感や高揚感は今作でも健在。多少質は違うがアップテンポのナンバーという点では前作を凌ぐ。
トラック2-5でそれが顕著に表れており、アルバムの方向性を印象付ける。
中でもトラック2は今作の新境地面でのハイライトチューンとも言うべき曲だろう。
トラック7-11では逆に、前作の雰囲気を残している。8と11は曲調は違うが非常にキャッチー。
特に11は今後、ステージでも重要な位置付けとなるのではと期待している。

前作の統一感と比べると、一通り聴いただけでは散漫な印象を受けるかもしれない。
しかしそれは、楽曲それぞれの密度の高さが主張しあっているせいだと言える。
もっと聴きこんだ後、私にとっても今よりも重要な一枚になっているのは間違いない。
長い付き合いになりそうなアルバムだ。

約1年ぶりのアルバムリリースとなる。この初回版はまるでバレンタインの
小さいチョコレート化粧箱を思わせる豪華なパッケージ仕様となっている。
箱を開けてもＣＤはすぐに見えない。豪華なブックレット、歌詞ブックレット
そして一番下にＣＤが入っている。コレクション要素が高い反面、すぐに取り
出せないのは少々難がある。別に薄型ケースを用意するなどの対策が必要かも
しれない。
前作の完成度が高かったように思える。このような作品は2作品目では1作目を
超える作品を作ることは難しい。だが、今作も前作に勝るとも劣らない出来栄
えである。
前作品の作品傾向や雰囲気を踏襲しながら、少し新しい試みの曲調・歌詞も見
受けられる。前シングル曲も収録されており、シングルよりも心なしか音質が
良くなっているように思える。
収録時間70分と盛りだくさんの内容で、ファンにとどまらず、新規リスナーに
もお勧め出来る。
初回版と通常版は価格が異なるので注意。ただ純粋に音楽だけ楽しむには通常
版が良いだろう。
