再結成第1弾SINGLEはドラマ主題歌の大型タイアップ付きのミディアムバラード!

1996年「Body&Soul」で鮮烈なデビューを飾りミリオンヒットを連発、2年連続史上最年少全国4大ドーム公演を成し遂げるなど、
不動の地位を築いた伝説のグループ、SPEED。
2001年3月の解散後、2001年にチャリティーのため一夜限りの復活、2003年には世界中の困窮する子供達を救うプロジェクトの一環で
8万5千人動員した全国ツアーを行い、テーマソングとして「Be My Love」をリリースし大ヒットを記録するなど、短期間の再集結は2回ありました。
しかし、今回の再結成は今までと違い、本格的に再始動します!
今年の「24時間テレビ」で劇的な復活を果たしたのもつかの間、観月ありさ主演の日本テレビ系ドラマ「OLにっぽん」(毎週水曜22:00~)の主題歌のリリースが決定!

現役時代の10代の頃はhiroと今井絵理子がユニゾンで歌い、上原多香子とHITOEがコーラスをしていました。でも前の再結成の時もですが4人のハーモニーが素晴らしいです。ワイドショーで少しサビの部分を聴いただけですが、とても素敵な曲でした。解散後のソロ活動で歌唱力は上がっているはずです。もうアイドルと呼ぶ年齢ではない彼女たち、完全復活についても賛否両論ですが。安室奈美恵旋風が起きてるのに続いてSPEED旋風とまでいかなくてもそこそこのヒットはしてほしいです。
