2009年5月から裁判員制度が実施されますが、このゲームは裁判員制度とはどんな物かをシュミレーション感覚で体験するゲームです。 まず裁判員候補者の通知が届くところからゲームは始まり、審理、評議、最後には判決(懲役なども決める)にいたるまでを体験することが出来ます。 検察官、弁護人、被告人、証人、被害者の立証や証言を記憶し、それを基に裁判官やその他の裁判員達と評議します。「〜だから、被告人には殺意があったと思う」…というような意見を交わしながら争点別に「弁護側に賛成」「検察側に賛成」「わからない」を選択していき、最終的には「有罪」か「無罪」を選択します。 自分の発言によって裁判員の考えが揺れ動くのがなかなか面白いのですが、あまり表情は変わらないし、個性的なキャラもいない、登場人物は被告人と被害者以外は毎回同じメンバーでつまらないです。 全部で三話収録されていますが、一話でだいたい30分から1時間でクリアしてしまいます。簡単過ぎです!! 裁判員てどんな事やるのか解らない…という点では、テレビや新聞で見るより解りやすく出来ています(辞典や用語集も収録されています)が、ゲームとしてはかなり物足りない。内容の割に値段高いし…。2千円くらいが妥当なんじゃないかと思います。

プレイできる裁判を全てクリアしました。
そのうちのひとつに、被告の罪は検察の「強盗致傷罪」か、
もしくは弁護士の「暴行罪と恐喝罪」かを考えるシナリオがありました。
他の裁判員との評議の結果、被告に計画性はないことがまとまったので
暴行罪と恐喝罪になるだろうと思っていたら何故か強盗致傷罪に。
執行猶予も付かないなんて。
こうなった理由は、検察と弁護士のいくつかの争点のうち、
過半数を検察が正しいと判断したからです。
争点の過半数は検察が勝利→検察の言ってることがすべて正しい、というわけですね。
弁護士の言い分はどこをどう選択しても聞き入れられませんでした。
判決文にも「金銭を奪う目的で・・・」って計画性があったように書かれていたりします。

確かに裁判の進行や用語は分かりやすい説明があり、役に立つと思います。
しかし教育ソフトと銘打ってるとはいえ、このゲーム性の悪さはひどいものがあります。
これなら小学生向きの裁判員解説マンガを読んだほうが安く実用的でしょう。
