待ちに待ったソロシングル。デビュー20周年という節目でもある。音楽が与える「安心」がここにある。高野さんの声の「優しさ」が曲に表れていることを実感できる一枚ではなかろうか。さらなる新曲がすぐにでも聞きたい。

デビュー当時からの、ファンのひとりです。

２０年目にして、デビュー曲「See You Again」を初めて聴いた時の
”あの感動”に、まさか、また出会えるなんて・・・思っても見なかった!!
とても、うれしいです。

当時、大学生だった私は、いつの間にか、彼の音楽を通して、
世界を見るようになっていました。私の感覚の”基準”だったのです。
それ以来、彼の音楽をずっと聴いてきました。

やがて、ソロ活動から距離をおいてしまった彼に、リアルタイムでの関心は、
以前ほど、持てなくなっていました。
もう二度と、往年のようなエバーグリーンのポップスは、聴けないのだろうかと・・・
ところが・・・見事に、原点回帰してくれたんですね。
デビュー当時から、変わらない、これぞ永遠のＰＯＰＳ！
けっして時代に消費されない音楽。

やっぱり、安心して聴ける、身をゆだねられる。
彼の音楽を通して、時代を、そして世界をみれば、
何を信じてよいのか、確かなものがわかりにくい中でも、
道に迷わずに、生きていけるような気がします。
まるで、暗闇に点す明かりように・・・

「虹の都へ」や「ベステンダンク」にも、負けないキャッチーさ。
この曲がいいと感じた方は、特に初期から中期の、
彼のアルバムを、ぜひ聴いてみてください。

高野寛さんデビュー20周年、4年ぶりのソロワークスのシングルです。
おしゃれで、さわやかな大人ポップスです。
高橋幸宏さんのドラムが高野さんのさわやかな歌声に加わり、よりいっそうポップス感をだしています。
私はカップリングのTimelessも大好きです。ドライブ中に聴くと気分を高揚させてくれますよ。
