リストの曲の解釈は色々あると思うし(リストに限らずそうですが）、弾き手によってはタッチを激しくというか抑揚をもっと激しく強調する方もいると思うが、彼女のは部分的にここでもう少し・・・というのが、聞き手によっては物足りなく思う人もいるかと思う。でも、”突出した”派手さみたいなのにやや欠ける分、逆にすーっと自然に流れるような盛り上がりに優美さが感じられて、超絶技巧が難なく優美に聞こえてくるというのか、優雅な美しさを十分に堪能できるので、これもまたアリかなと思うし、聞いていると好きになってきますね。
また、有名なラ･カンパネラ、大好きな曲なので、ここでも聞けて嬉しかったです。これぞピアノの魅力を堪能できる名曲の一つだと思います。可憐さだけでなく激しさもドラマティックな展開で表現されていて、感動しました。

　最近、小菅優さんでもそうですが、かつてのホロヴィッツ的ヴィルトゥオーゾ型の超絶技巧作曲家としのてリストとは異なり、もっと内面的で深い陰影をたたえた作曲家としてリストを弾こうとする新しい傾向があるようです。
　アリス=紗良・オットさんは、ケレン味なく、自分の感じるところを大切にしながらリストと向き合っているように思えました。けっして技巧をひけらかすことなく、しっとりと弾ききっています。
　たしかにものすごく惹きつけるような煌めきがあるわけではないのですが、それでも聞き込んでいくうちにどんどん好きになっていくような良い演奏ではないでしょうか。

『超絶技巧練習曲集』を聞くのは初めてですし、クラシックに造詣が深いわけでもありません。そんなぼくでも、この練習曲が難しいのはわかりますが、このアルバムはテクニックの素晴らしさよりも、弾き手の思いが伝わってくる優しい仕上がりになっているように思えます。ボーナストラックの「カンパネラ」もドラマティックです。最初は、「？」でしたが、何度か聞いているうちに、いいなぁと思うようになりました。クラシックを身近に感じさせてくれるアルバムだと思います。
