何と早くも新曲!
しかも作詞、作曲が松本隆、筒美京平の昭和アイドル歌謡界の黄金コンビなんて豪華過ぎる(>_<)

曲の方は前作とはうってかわりミディアム系のバラード曲。
しかしSNOW TEARSほど重いバラードではなく、すっと耳に馴染み、軽く口ずさめる曲調。
あどけなさが残りつつも日々確実に大人のアーティストに近付きつつあるしょこたんの魅力を最大限に生かした曲になっています(^w^)

今までのしょこたんの曲にはなかったミディアムナンバーをこれだけ上質に提示してくる辺りはさすが黄金コンビ!

２作目のストロベリメロディで垣間見る事が出来たしょこたんの歌謡の良さがこの作品で戻って来たことが嬉しい。もちろん「空色デイズ」がヒットし、そこから続くロック風な作品もよい。がしかし、僕は彼女の魅力はじっくり聴かせる歌でこそ発揮されると思っていた。こういう作品になると、彼女のかわいい綺麗な声の良さが際立って聞こえる。この懐かしくて暖かくてどこか切ないバラードは彼女に似合っている。曲もすごくいい。特に２番以降が好きだ。

しょこたんこと中川翔子
今やこの２つの呼び名の他にもうひとつ必要では？そう思わせるこの曲は、
９月の「続く世界」、８月の「Shiny　Gate」とも全く違う、さわやかな秋晴れを
感じさせるバラードだ。元気でポップな「Shiny　Gate」が「しょこたん」なら、
ハードでシリアスなロック「続く世界」が「中川翔子」　そしてしっとりと美し　
い大人のバラード「綺麗ア・ラ・モード」は本来彼女が命名されるはずであった
「中川薔子」ではなかろうか。PVを観た後に彼女のブログを見るとやっぱりそこ
にいるのは「しょこたん」であり、再度この曲のPVを観て同一人物かどうか確か
めたくなる。紅白では何を歌うんだろう？
