９年くらい前の作品なのに、新作かと思うほどの高画質！
表情近めの映像が多い気がしましたが、
全体を通して画質がいいので不満は感じません。
音質も良く、これぞブルーレイ仕様といった出来です。
ただ、特典が予告編集だけなのは物足りなすぎます。
戦場シーンとかのメイキング見たかった・・・
特典の少なさで☆−１とします。

今から９年前、初めてミラ・ジョボビッチを知ったのがこの作品。勿論当時はDVD。
当時、ストーリー云々ではなく、この女性のいろいろな意味での魅力に魅せられ通しの作品でした。当時の鮮烈な印象を未だ忘れられません。
そして今回のブルーレイ・・・。
以下は、フルハイビジョンプロジェクター、120inchスクリーンでの印象です。

まず、最も気にしていた画質。これはもう二重丸。10年近く前の作品は、画質に当たりはずれがあるので、とても心配していたのです(同時期発売のターミネーター２も、今回同時購入したのですが、こちらはもう一つ残念な画質でした)。
ミラの子役を演じた少女の初々しさ、そばかすや唇の皺まで手に取るように判ります。そしてDVD当時はよく判らなかった「剣」の質感、素材感がほんとうによく判るのです。戦闘シーンは細部にわたって明瞭で、戦場に参加しているかのような緊張感が伝わってきます。
基本的にストーリーはどうかと思うのですが、ミラの存在感が幻想的な雰囲気の中で際立ち、その魅力を一層引き出しています。
ミラ好きでなくても、とても楽しめる一本だと思います。
購入して本当に良かったです。
