　欲しくても国内では販売されておらず待ちに待った感じで発売日に購入しました。
　正十二面体で一面が11個に分割された立体パズルです。先に発売されている正十二面体のパズルであるデカミンクスに比べてサイズは若干コンパクトです。このメガミンクスは回転が72°単位です。デカミンクスが120°単位であるのと比べて大きく違っています。このメガミンクスは12色版と6色版があるようですが、12色版で嬉しく思ってます。6色版の方が少し簡単なようですが、その分特有のパリティーが生じて運が悪いとそろわないという現象が生じると聞いていました。12色版ではこのパリティーは生じないようです。
　ルービックキューブと同様の攻略法で途中まではなんとかなりますが、やはり72°回転という違いによりちょっとした工夫が必要なようです。☆8個で最高の難易度のようですが、意外に簡単に攻略できます。☆7個のデカミンクスよりはスムーズだった気がします。
　表面のシールが悪くなく、先に発売のデカミンクスに比べて明らかに良い商品で長時間回していても目がチカチカしません。デカミンクスは蛍光色で目がチカチカしてきます。
　立方体パズルでマンネリ化してきた頭にはお勧めの一品です。デカミンクスとメガミンクスで迷うならこちらの方がよいでしょう。同じくピラミンクスやスキューブも発売されていますが、この2つはかなり簡単で立方体パズル以外の３Dパズルの入門には良いかもしれませんが、これらはあっけなく攻略されてしまうでしょう。

あわせる面が多い分、ルービックキューブより難しいですが、
途中までは同じ解き方で解けます。
回し心地はいいのですが、ピラミンクスのシールより
安いシールなので、すぐに剥がれてしまいます。
