映画ではウルトラマンを遥かに凌ぐ巨体ですが,実際の商品の全高はスーパーヒッポリト星人とほぼ同じです。(幅や奥行きは有りますが)
また造型の細かさから出荷時や店頭での破損が心配されましたが,専用パッケージに封入されての販売なので一安心です。

箱には上半身を90度回転させて横向きにさせた状態で、ビニール袋にくるまれて梱包されてます。
可動は上半身と下半身の接合部・肩・4本の腕の下腕/手首・Kシルバゴンの角にそれぞれ回転軸が設けられています。
色分けは全体的にしっかりされていると思いますが、私が購入したものは背びれ付近の塗装が
若干甘い感じでした。

映画版前作のＵキラーザウルスのような巨大感はありませんが、合成怪獣特有のごちゃ混ぜ感は
よく出てるのではないかと。映画見て欲しいと思った方にオススメします。
素材が柔軟なので問題ないとは思いますが、腕など結構細いので一応ご注意を。

映画登場の怪獣ソフビで通常サイズのウルトラ怪獣シリーズと同じサイズと価格のものは人気があれば同シリーズにラインナップの形で再発売される可能性がありますが、今回のギガキマイラと同様二大型怪獣ソフビは再販された例がありません。(Ｕキラーザウルス・クイーンモネラ等)
しかも通常サイズより高額で大型商品ですから、生産数も通常品より少ないので、一度入手しぞこねると後が厄介ですね。

ネタばれになりますが、このギガキマイラは映画終盤に登場の怪獣で、それまで登場してる５体の宇宙人・怪獣の合体した姿。ウルトラ８兄弟たちが戦う怪獣ですから、ファンとしてはぜひ入手したい一品です。
ただ残念なのは発売が映画公開から一ヶ月以上先だった事。やっぱり、映画を見た後にすぐに欲しくなりますよね。
あともうひとつ、画像を見る限りでは細い部分が多いので、破損しやすそうなのが不安です。
