まずパッケージとしての出来が凄く良いと思いました。
お気に入りの絵本を手に取ったときのような愛着があります。
カワイイ！！
そして市川監督が手がけたCMやアニメーションなど、
これだけの貴重な映像がいつでもDVDとして手元に置いておけるのは嬉しいですね。

ちなみに、大原麗子さんのネタが最近ワイドショーを賑わせてたけど、
若き日の大原さんにはウットリ・・・。ほんと、絶世の美女！！
加賀まり子も可愛かった！！

今度はサントリーだけのCM集とかでないかしら？

オリベッティのためだけに制作された『京』、GHQの検閲によりお蔵入りとなった『娘道成寺』といった作品が見られることが注目されるだろうし、実際に私もそれが楽しみではあるのだが、それと同等に、あるいはそれ以上に注目したいのは、市川監督が手がけたテレビコマーシャルも多数収録されるという点だ(なんだかんだと映画作品は上映イベントなども行われていた、ということもあり)。

幻の短編映画に比べれば、収録は容易に思ってしまいがちだが、それに関わるスタッフや関係者の多さを思えば、このDVDに収録されている数々のCMたちが、当たり前のように入っている背景には、制作スタッフの方々が、文字通り足を棒にして権利をクリアにするために方々に許諾を求めて回ったであろう姿が容易に頭に浮かぶというものだ。また、逆に言えば、そこがクリアに出来ずに収録が見送られた作品もあったに違いない。

個人的には、大人気シリーズとなった大原麗子の「サントリー・オールド」もいいが、加賀まりこ主演の市川崑初CM監督作品でもある「ホワイトライオン」が収録されているのがたまらない。彼女に対して、バラエティ番組などで見かけるお局チックな小うるさいおばさん――などといったイメージしか持っていない若い方も多いかと思うが、かつては(などと言っては叱られてしまうだろうが)こんなに美しかったのだということを是非知っていただきたい。

私などは、日本の美女といえばまず加賀まりこが頭に浮かぶのだが、今日の若い世代の方から見ても、当時の彼女はおそらく格の違う輝きを放っていると思うのだが、果たしてどうだろうか。気になった方には、是非目を通していただきたいものだ。

これは見ないと損します。数々の美しい映像作品を生み出してきた市川監督の映像において最高傑作といえるであろう「京」、さらに「黒い十人の女」を彷彿とさせる、加賀まりこさんがとびきり可愛いホワイトライオンのCM。笑ったり拗ねたり色っぽかったり女の魅力をつめこんだ、大原麗子さんのサントリーレッド。湯上がりの女篇なんて、今再現できる女優さんはいないんじゃないでしょうか。想像力を刺激される設定も短時間のCMならではの面白さです。

素敵なサプライズはあの百恵ちゃんや岸恵子さんのCMまで入ってること。永久保存版です!
