アーティストについて

ポストハードコア・シーンの新星として人気を集めていたQuick and the Deadを脱退したカイル・トレッドウェイ。バンドでの活動に理想とのギャップを感じ、ツアー漬けの生活から離れることを決意した彼が、サンフランシスコのベイエリアで初めて一人での曲作りを始めた瞬間、My Jeremiahは至高のメロディーと共に産声を上げる。
全ての楽器を一人でこなすというマルチプレーヤー振りを発揮し本作の制作に着手。ソロ・アーティストの作品にありがちな一辺倒な作風でなく、バラエティーに富んだ作品に仕上げるべく、ジョージア州アトランタ、カリフォルニア州チコという異なる地で、Number One Gunのギタリストであり、Hawthorne Heights、Brighten等を手掛けるジェフ・シュニーウェイズ、Copeland、Underoath等を手掛けるマット・ゴールドマンという異なるプロデューサーと共に本作Where You Are」作り上げる。

なんの予備知識もなく購入しましたが、なかなかの秀作だと思います!

簡単にいえば、『爽やかピアノロック』ですが、メロディーが秀逸で捨て曲がないですよ。最後まで飽きる事なく聞けちゃいます。

透明感のある声も良いです。(ファルセット有り♪)

2.『GONE』が特にお気に入りです♪
