イクシに比べてパワーショットは若干大きいし重いです。
イクシを使っていて乗り換えですが、まず専用電池でないのがいい。単三2本で稼働するので、万が一の電池切れでもどこでも手に入ります。
私はエネループを常に予備に携帯しています。
イクシより重いのも、個人的にはいいと思います。
イクシは軽すぎて手ブレをするということがありがちですが、フィルム時代から写真をやっている人にはこれくらいの重さがいいと思います。
私はブルーを買いましたが、実用主義のパワーショットから脱皮した感じです。

操作性も問題ありません。私は一眼レフも持っているのですが、一眼のサブカメラとしても十分使えるスペックだと思います。

キャノンのカメラは本体にメモリがありません。必ずＳＤカードが必要になります。付属の３２Ｍのカードでは使い物になりません（数枚しか撮れない）ので１Ｇ程度のメモリを一緒に買ったほうがいいです。

今まで他社カメラしか使用した事がなかったのですが
今回このカメラを購入しました。
その理由として乾電池が使用できる事。
近頃乾電池使用機種はたくさんありますが
いろいろと検討した結果
ポケットサイズの機種でと見つけたのがこのカメラでした。
使用感ですが他の方のレビューの通りとても使いやすい。
操作方法も体感的に覚えやすく
触って試しても簡単に操作ができ、
基本操作は解説書を読まずにそのまま使用できました。
（解りづらい所は解説書を参考にしましたが）
私もけっしてカメラに詳しいわけではない初心者ですが
初心者の方にも難しくない良機種だと思います。
画像もかなり良い色合い。手ブレ補正もあり撮影も簡単。
サイズもちょうど男性用のカジュアルシャツなどのポケットに
入るか入らないかの大きさでジーンズの後ろポケットならほぼピッタリサイズ。
重量もほどよく、むしろこのくらいの重さがある方が
しっかりホールドできると思います。
コストパフォーマンスに優れていて
普通に使用するならこれで十分だと思います。

家電店で実機をチェックして、価格的に安かったAmazonで購入しました。
持ちやすいデザインと適度な重さで、手ぶれもありません。
電池式なので充電の心配も無し。
個人的にベストな一台に出会えたと思っています。
画像も大変美しく、操作も分かりやすいと思います。
良い買い物ができました♪
