原作との出会いは教室、自宅の書棚で再開して数回精読してあった。キャストも魅力的に感じ、期待をしてデッキのスイッチを押した。
しかし、読む度に見解を深めていくことができる底を知らない物語なのに、その奥深さが十分表現されているように感じなかった。カットや余計な演出が多く、洗練された原作に脚本が劣る。前半部分の私と先生の交流があるからこそ遺書の影に重みを感じられるのであって、前半部分をさらりと流してしまったドラマに原作程の魅力を見いだせなかった。
役者陣の芝居に申し分はない。ただ、Kの遺体を発見する場面など、要のシーンに物足りなさを感じてしまった。
原作と別物として楽しむのを薦めたい。

小さい頃あるラジオドラマが好きだった。当時も今も音声ドラマはマイナーなジャンルだが
文字・視覚で吸収した物語が記憶されるように、音・聴覚を頼りに紡がれる物語もまた独特の面白さと心地良さがある。
音のみで具体的に動き始める登場人物たちは、映像の強要がない分自分の想像に任され、より身近に感じる。
「こころ」を読んだのはもうずっと以前、細かい部分は忘れたが、読み返さずに休前日の夜ゆったりと聴いてみた。

古い日本語で語られた物語は、新しい「こころ」として「先生」の遺書を中心に始まり、そして終わる。
時代性とはいえ高等遊民・知識人たる先生の恋の苦悩や回想は一歩引いてしまうほど歪んでいる。
最初に登場する先生と私の声、その響きが意外にも力強い。
原作の通り、話のキーパーソンはK。両者とも、落ち着いた深みのある声で淡々と語る。「私」は少し表現力が弱いかなと思ったが、芯が強く、けれど控えめな空気感がこの「私」の青年像にとてもよく合っていた。
先生が吐露する言葉、彼らの想いが交錯する様を、緻密な感情表現によって丁寧に場面は流れていく。その結末は、小説の読後の鬱な余韻に上書きされることなく、哀しくもきっぱりと閉じる。
良い作品はそれなりに消耗するようで、終了後そのまま眠ってしまった。また繰り返し何度でも聴きたい。
同じ製作元から年内中に「銀河鉄道の夜」が出るそうだ。本作よりずっと好きな作品なだけにとても嬉しい。次回作も期待。

漱石の「こころ」をドラマＣＤにしたものです。
キャストの声でこころを理解するチャンスとばかりに聞きました

「先生」と「Ｋ」は大学の友達。二人の下宿先の娘に二人が惚れ、焦った「先生」は娘にプロポーズ。それを知ったＫは自殺
先生はその後、後悔やら葛藤やらに悩まされて自殺
そんな「先生」は自分の人生を遺書に記し「私」に送り、人生の役に立ててね。という話です。

●話は「先生」の遺書の内容であり「先生」目線で展開されているので、速水奨さんがメイン
これが良かった！先生役に速水さんピッタリ★
「くそ〜」って言うシーンは上手でした。さすがベテラン

●友達のＫ　石田彰様　ストイック人生を歩みつつ、中身は弱い人間の葛藤役に、これまた良い感じ★

●吉岡はプレイボーイ役なので三木眞さんがフツーに配役って気がしました

●私役の宮野真守はドンピシャな配役では無いとは思うけど、当たり障りの無い声なので、選ばれたかな？って気がしました
台詞少ないです（涙）

重い話なので、聞くのが若干辛かったで★３つにしたいのですが、
速水さんの役がハマッていたので★４つの評価で
