表題曲のAmbivalent Idealはすごく良いです。
比較的テンポも遅くて静かなこういう曲に雰囲気を持たせて聞かせられるバンドは
そんなに多くないので、そういった意味でもlynch.というバンドの強みを感じます。
楽器の音、ボーカルの歌い方も色々と計算されていて
個人的にはlynch.の楽曲の中でもすごく好きです。
この曲に関しては文句はありません。

ただ2曲目のDOZEは、lynch.は確かに勢いがあって激しい曲も魅力だと思うのですが
もう少し曲自体に「意味」が欲しいな、と感じます。
ただ激しくて勢いがあるだけのように思います。
間奏のギターは物凄く良いです。
激しさだけでなくもっと深みがあるような曲ならば良かったかな、と思います。
完全にライヴ意識で作っている曲ならば良いのかもしれないですが
家で聞く気にはなりません。

そして、2曲でこの値段は今の音楽シーンにしては少し高いような・・・
初回盤だから仕方無いんですかね。

Ambivalent Idealの良さはYoutubeに預けるとして、私はあえてDOZEを評価したい。

DOZEはB面ながら異常なまでの攻撃性と、儚さ・綺麗さを併せ持つ。
その理由は間奏にある。

いきなり挟まれる間奏がまさに"覚醒"といわんばかりの綺麗さなのだ。

そしてそこから雪崩のようにBLINDNESS and SICKNESSのデス声が
これまた異常なピッチで迫り来る。

この緩急にヤられます。

ただただうるさいだけの音楽を乗り越えた曲ではないでしょうか。
是非B面のDOZEも聞いていただきたい、そんなシングルです。

前作Adoreが既に現在のlynch.の代表曲になってしまっているほどの名曲だったが故に
今作は期待と不安が入り混じりながらの発売待ち。
感想はタイトルのとおりAdoreの壁は厚かったと感じました。

葉月の妖艶さが際立ったPVは必見です。2曲目のDOZEは‘激しければ良いというものじゃない‘
という事で個人的にはナシです。ここでAdoreが入ったフルアルバムを出して欲しかった！と思っているのは私だけですか？
