依頼の"片付け方"はプレイヤー次第
敵の正面から戦車でド派手に暴れるまくるもよし、敵の背後からミサイルを撃ち込んで奇襲をかけるもよし、スナイパーライフルでコソコソ敵を片付けるもよし… 創造力を働かせて攻め方を考えながらプレイ!

航空支援
ゲーム中に空爆や補給物資を依頼することができるので、敵の集まる要塞を見つけたら空爆を要請して要塞ごと吹飛ばしたり、銃弾やC4爆弾が無くなったら補給物資を頼むこともできる。

報酬次第の非情な世界
政府軍、アジア軍、連合軍、ゲリラ、海賊の5つの勢力から自由に依頼を受けることができる。お互い反目し、敵対している勢力もあるので、受けた依頼内容によってプレイヤーと各勢力との友好度が変化してストーリー展開にも影響。

多種多様な依頼
ジャングル、市街地、埠頭、住宅地などなど、広大なオープンワールドのマップを舞台に、 『破壊工作』、『運び屋』、『要人暗殺』など多種多様な依頼を遂行する。

オンラインで協力プレイ
オンライン機能にも対応。友人同士で協力して依頼を片付けて行く。息のあったプレイでミッションを達成!

6万本以上のセールスを記録したミリタリーアクション『マーセナリーズ』が、スケールアップして新世代ハードに登場! 今回は戦場を南米某国に移し、"マティス"、"クリス"、"ジェニファー"の3人が何でもありのド迫力アクションを繰り広げる。仕事の依頼は、政府軍、アジア軍、連合軍、ゲリラ、そして海賊の5大勢力から自由に引き受けることが可能。乗り物は、スクーターから戦車にいたるまですべてを奪って乗り回せる。また、今回は航空支援が更にパワーアップし、敵勢力を空爆で要塞ごと吹き飛ばしたり、手持ちの弾薬が少なくなった際に航空機から補給物資を受け取れる。なお、本作はオンライン対応なので、友だち同士で協力プレイが可能。

まず、GTAと比較する方が多いですがまったく違うジャンルです。
GTAの方はどっちかというと戦闘より、車でのカードライブ、豊富なミニゲームなど
観光色が強い作品です。
こちらはゲームスタート直後からAKぶっ放していくタイプ。
PC海外版をやってみた感想は、荒削りな部分が目立ちますが
爽快感抜群の作品となってます。トレイラー見た時は正直微妙と感じましたが
実際やりはじめるとかなり面白いです。
ただ、バグが多く、グラフィックもいまいち。ここは残念でした。
物理判定が変なところにあったり、一般市民倒すとペナルティかかったり、
AIが不十分な点が多かったので、もっとバグやAIを改善してくれさえすれば
最高のゲームになったと思います。

羅列しきれない凄まじい量のバグ。
難易度はRPG兵と戦車と対空砲火を増やすだけのバランス放棄。

このマーセナリーズ2は、小学生が嫌々提出した夏休みの宿題を彷彿とさせる。

要するに「出せばいいんでしょ」的な投げやり感が随所に感じられるのだ。

面白かったです。基本的には前作と同じですがマップ、アマゾンまでありました。(どこも基本的には景色は一緒）全部の地図開くまでけっこうかかりましたがミッションはそんなに難しくないです。ただオートセーブがどこでセーブしてるのか不明なので少し不安感がありました。画像ははっきり言って次世代機にしては、まあまあでしょうか。ただランボーとかのワンマンアーミー系の映画が好きならもう最高のゲームでしょう。モヒカンオヤジイマイチのキャラですが。(戦場に似合わないです）できたら夜とか雨とか嵐とかあってほしかったです。晴れと曇りだけなのでドラマティックさに欠けます。やはり戦争に悪天候はつきものでしょう。あと致命的な欠点はカバーポジションのないことでしょう。
