発売当日に購入して一〜二回聴いてあまり好印象でなくて
聴いてなかったのですが,最近改めて聴きなおし価値がやっとわかりました。

1990年代後半から,「NとLの野球帽」,「CROSS ROAD」,「光の羅針盤」
「Here&There」等の名曲を連発し,「DOUBLE」ではCHAGE作品の良さが際立ってました。
これらの活動の集大成といえる内容といえる大傑作。
何回も何回も聴き込む事で,このアルバムの価値は初めて理解できるといえるでしょう。

チャゲアスのイメージに捉われる事無く,
「waltz」の幼稚園児の絵といい,代名詞ともいえるサングラスを脱いだ素顔のジャケットといい,
ソロのCHAGEさんのやりたい事を象徴してるようだ。

ソロとして
活動してるCHAGEさんの姿・曲作りを見てると生き生きとして本当に楽しい
で昔より元気そう。

CHAGE&ASKA（無期限活動停止になりましたが）の活動再開を望む
のがファンとして本音ですが,今はお二人のソロ活動を温かく見守り応援し続けるのがファンとしてやるべき事かなと思います。

アルバム「アイシテル」を聴きました。
まず声ですが、癖が無く非常に丁寧でまた綺麗に唄われています。
本題の曲「アイシテル」はメロディーライン及びサウンドが豊かに生きています。思わず曲に入り込み、自然と心地よい気分になります。
「マシュマロ」「夜のイキモノ」等は、CHAGE独特の比喩表現の詩で思わず笑みが浮かびます。
「Love」「Someday」はマルチマックスからの選曲で新しいアレンジで表現されています。
全体的にアルバム色を壊さずに非常に聴きやすい構成になっており、あっという間に全曲が終了します。
さすが日本代表のシンガーソングライター、CHAGE氏ですね。
満足しました。

タイトル曲「アイシテル」をラジオで聴きましたが、キャッチーで爽やかで、何処か懐かしく感じました。
先行シングル「waltz」が期待以上の出来だったので、アルバムも非常に楽しみです。
今回のソロ活動でのCHAGEは、気負いなく音楽を楽しんでいる印象を受けます。
来年30周年を迎えるCHAGE and ASKAですが、活動は未定の様です。
ファンとして色々思う所はありますが、今は2人のソロ活動を楽しみたいと思います。
