3台のノートPC（OSは全部XP）にインストールしました。1台は即システムダウンしてOS再インストールとなり、1台はネットに接続できなく（ネットワークに入れなく）なりました。ネット情報をみても問題の解決には至りませんでした。メーカーのサポートページのFAQなども読み、推奨される対策を実行しても解決しませんでした。残り1台はかろうじてネット接続できましたが、使用していくうちに他アプリとのコンフリクトがでないか心配です。
問題が発生しても笑顔で対処できる方以外にはお勧めしかねます。

4.0 out of 5 stars ウィルスバスター2009からの移行で動作の軽さを実感, 2009/2/12
　2002年に組立てたPC（CPU：Celeron 1.3GHz(Tualatin)、メモリ：768MB、HDD：80GB+120GB)をWindows XP Professionalで使っています。MS Word、Excel、Photoshopによる簡単な画像処理、電子メール、Web閲覧が主な処理で、一昔前のPCでも用が足りてきました。
　ウィルス対策ソフトとしてウィルスバスターを使ってきましたが、2008、2009のバージョンアップで動作が重くなり、キーボードによる入力作業が滞る場合もでてきました。QuadプロセッサのPCを用意したのですが環境移行の作業が思うようにできず、時間稼ぎにと｢軽い｣といわれている本ソフトを入手しました。
　結果は期待どおりで、ウィルス対策ソフトの動作で入力が滞ることが少なくなり、「これだったら新しいPCの入手をもう少し遅らせることもできたかな｣などと実感しています。また、USBメモリでのソフトの提供は便利で外付けメモリの価格下落もあって「今後、これが主流になるのかな｣と考えさせられました。

当初は、軽快で良かったのですが、ある日ブルースクリーンが発生し、
再起動後、ウイルスの自動検知がONにできなくなりました。

メッセージに従い、アンインストールを行いホームページの最新版を
入れて、暫くは良かったのですが、また、ブルースクリーンになり、
同じ事の繰り返しです。

結局白い箱の方に買い換えました(そちらは問題ナシ)。
環境にも依存しているのかしれませんが、ちょっとお勧めできないです。
