まず1曲目のAre you happy now?で完全にハマってしまった。
力強くも美しいメロディのイントロ。
AメロからBメロへの流れるような展開。
その流れを全く失うことなく、サビの勇ましいメロディが畳み掛けてくる。
この曲の雰囲気や、メロディ、リズム、展開など全てが彼女の声質にピッタリ合って鳥肌が立つ。
私自身、まだアルバム内の曲を全て聴いたわけではない。
だがこの1曲目を耳にしただけで、このアルバムを買った価値はお釣りが来るほどにある。
名盤です。

とにかくタイトル曲の
「Are you happy now?」がヤバい!!!

クレジットが発表されたとき、今回のアルバム曲はGARNET CROWの岡本氏の作曲がほとんどで、
これまでたくさん彼女に曲を提供していた大野愛果のメロディアスな曲が好みな自分としては、少し残念な印象ではあった・・（シングル3曲は全て大野曲ではあるが）

が！
公式サイト等で試聴をしたところ
タイトル曲の「Are you happy now?」に一気に惹きつけられてしまいました！
とにかくかっこよくて、メロディアスで、
これでこそ上木！と言わんばかりの原点回帰なロック作です！

2ndアルバムであえて、ロックから離れ、ポップを追求したことで、
さらに彼女の音楽幅が広がってるということがアルバム全体を試聴して感じられました。


この3rdアルバム、凄いことになりそうだ。

前略　上木さん　の　３枚目のアルバムがいよいよ登場！！！　初回限定盤A/B そして通常盤の３種類のなかで、A/Bどちらにしようか迷いましたが、昨年、ラッキーにも「参加」することができた、六本木での映像も収録されているだろう．．．ということで、こちらの「初回限定盤B」を購入することにしました。（A盤の）ミュージッククリップとメイキング映像もすごく気になっているのですが．．．．．．！？
（発売前ですが、期待を込めて星５！！！）
