■完全新規設計よる究極のVF-1■
各形態でのバランスとプロポーションを更に向上させるため、1/48VF-1の変形機構と、各部の形状・ディテールを細部にわたり検証をかさねた完全新規設計によるVF-1になる。ファイター形態のフォルムはもちろんのこと、バトロイド形態時のフォルムにおいては前作の1/48VF-1と比べ、より人型メカに近いフォルムを実現した。また更にバトロイド形態時の可動範囲の向上により、キャラクターメカらしいポージングが再現可能になった。

■独特の彩色■
設定を重視し、機体の配色、色合い、全体のバランスを考慮した一品。成型色も前の2機種とは当然異なり、まさしくTV版のVF-1Jに仕上げた。もちろんパイロット（一条輝）の彩色も設定に基づく「TV版」の塗装を再現！

■オプションパーツ■
TV版のキメポーズに必要不可欠である「丸手」。前2機種には付属されていない「ポージング用ハンド」として、2セットを追加で付属する。これによりキメポーズはもちろん、多彩なポージングにも対応すること間違いなし！

■広がるプレイバリュー■
この1/60スケールよりの新しいギミックとして機首部分が「コクピットカプセル」として取り外しが可能となり、専用のアタッチメントを使用することにより、各形態での腕部への取り付け可能！スーパーを装備した状態でのマクロススタンドの取付け（各形態）も出来、ディスプレイも思うがまま！

プロポーション、ギミック、造型、塗装精度と、どれをとっても非常に完成度が高い仕上がりになっています。ファイター、ガウォーク、バトロイドのどの形態でもロック機構、ラチェット関節でポーズがカッチリと決まり、変形させているだけでも充分楽しめます。新規のJ型頭部はシャープで大きさのバランスも良く、ファイター時機体下部にピッタリ収まっていて一体感があります。ガンポッドにガンベルトが付属していないことが唯一残念な点です。取り付け穴は開いているので、アーマード･パーツに同梱にでもなれば言うこと無しなのですが…

1/48のVF-1J(初期ロット除く)は、成型色がグレーがかった白だったのでやっと「真白」なVF-1Jが出てくれました。
やっぱりVF-1Jは、真っ白に限ります。

　商品の出来は、めちゃめちゃ良いです！！各パーツの切れ味が最高で、シャープな造詣には感心させられます。ただ、機首が少し短いし、何となく太いような気もします。それだけが問題で、あとは文句のつけようが無いくらい素晴らしいできです。だからこそ、この機首の短さが痛い・・・。この部分は改修されないまま商品展開が続くと思うと、残念でなりません。
そこで、やまとさんに一つ提案があります。機首が別パーツ化されているのを活かして、改修パーツ（機首部分のみ）を販売してはいただけないでしょうか？ファイター形態に特化したものでも良いですし、変形と両立させるものでもいいです。レドームだけを長くしても良いと思います。せめて１センチは長くして欲しいのですが、如何でしょうか？キットの出来が非常に良いだけに、勿体ないと思うのです。
