メンバーの都合により短期間でレコーディングされた、Travisの6thアルバム。
録音機材も古く、今までと比べ非常にシンプルな音作りになっています。

そのためプロデュース不足を批判されているようですが、
逆にその簡素さはこのアルバムの長所とも言えるのではないでしょうか。

また、「1stアルバムに近いタフなアルバム」とも言われていますが、
美メロも多く、従来のファンを裏切るような内容ではありません。

偏見を持たずにじっくり聴いて頂ければ幸いです。

デビュー時からのファンで、ずっと聞いています。今までのアルバムはどれも聞きやすく、きれいな音楽です。ありそうでなかったバンドでした。今回のアルバムで、一番気になるのは、録音状態の悪さです。音が、今までのアルバムより悪い気がします。メロディが命なので、音が悪いのはちょっと致命的です。そのような状態で、聞いているので、やはり今迄のように聞くことができませんでした。もしトラヴィスをこれから聞くという人は、必ずファーストを聞いてください。今聞いても全然古さを感じませんよ。今回はジャケットのデザインからして非常に残念です。

　楽しみですね、トラヴィス。
　こういうバンドもいてもいいんだ、と世界中に知らしめたバンド。　
　ボーカルはハゲちゃったけど笑顔が絶えないバンド。
　演奏力とかそういうレベルで勝負してないバンド。
　ありそうでなかった、超美メロ重視バンド（初期は別として）。
　あのギャラガー兄もお気になバンド。

　いいですねぇ、トラヴィス。　僕は大好きです。
　
　新しいアルバムは果たして「現状維持」か、それとも「原点回帰」か。
　それか、「進化」か。
　楽しみですね、トラヴィス。
