10周年ライブ、そのトークにあった「1枚毎にその曲のジャンルに飽きている」と言う言葉。
確かに納得が行く。
出すアルバム出すアルバム常に雰囲気が違う。
はっきり言って不安です。この二人の世界にどっぷり浸かりこんでいないと付いて来れないんじゃないかと思える。
なのでファン的な目線でいうと、爆発的に売れる超人気アーティスト的なではないと思う。けれど彼らの歌は一度心を掴めば離してはくれない。
出会いは2ndジレンマ。異色で挙げるとすればWARMだが、一番好きなアルバム。移籍を経てresurface、もしかしたら事務所に路線を決められたのかも知れないけど、それでもなお失わない彼らの色に付いてきてもう10年。

買おうと思っている方、過去の曲と同じものを求めては、きっと残念に感じてしまうかも知れません。
過去の曲を踏まえて10年間を進み続けてきた彼らを楽しんで下さい。

このアルバムは女性のナレーションから幕をあけ、ノリノリのロックナンバーにしっとり聞かせるバラードを織り交ぜ、最初から最後まで一つの映画のように一気に聞かせてくれました。曲数を稼ぐためだけの捨て曲は一つもなく、キャッチーなメロディーにメッセージ性の強い歌詩が溶け込み、時間の経つのも忘れて何度も聞きたくなる作品です。椎名君の詩は相変わらずいちいち心に響いてきて、明日を生きていく勇気が湧いてきます。これはまさにマスターピースと呼ぶにふさわしい名盤なのではないでしょうか。

デビュー当時から細々とファンを続けています。
レコード会社を移籍する前後は、楽曲もなんだか不安定な気がして自分もファンを続けられるか自信はなかったけど、10周年を迎えた彼らの今回のアルバムはどの曲も新しいながらもサーフィスのよいところはしっかりと残っている感じ。とても満足しています。
これからも頑張ってほしいです。
