サントラの公式サイトでかなりの数の曲を試聴できるので、
購入を迷っている方は一度覗いてみるとよいかも

ヴァルキリープロファイルやスターオーシャン系の、いわゆる桜庭サウンドとは変わって
トラスティベルで見せた様な重厚な曲群に仕上がっています
使っている音源もほぼ一緒なので、トラスティベルのサウンドが好きな方はまず買って損はないアルバムだと思います
トラスティベルに比べると より中世ファンタジーっぽくなっていますが、
ごちゃ混ぜに再生してもあまり違いが判らない程度です

全体的に切なさや暗さを含んだ曲が多いですが 落ち着いているというわけではなく、
戦闘曲含め 割と感情の激しい音楽です
以前の様な打ち込み系の戦闘曲等も自分は大好きですが
今回のように重厚さを増した曲群は、リズム感を満足させる以上のものになって
非常に深みがあり 大変気に入っています


今回のアルバムもこれから先 長く付き合っていくことになりそうです

ゲームを攻略した後買いましたが、ゲームが特に気に入ったわけではありません。
一般的にプレーしにくい場面が結構ありましたけど、一番よかったのがBGMだったと思います。
サントラを買ってすぐ、一番目のCDがとても気に入って、残りの2枚はまあまあだと思ったけど、聴くほど気に入りました。
オーケストラ風な曲達なので、ロックの好きな人におすすめできませんし、一回目聴いただけで「素晴らしい」と思う人は割と少ないでしょうけど、何回も聴いたら、何より素晴らしいと思いようになるかもしれません。僕はそうでした。桜庭氏の2008年に大量に出したCDの中で、一番お気に入りになりました。
なぜかというと、メロディーが通常よりはっきりしているし、頭に残る曲が結構ありましたし、完成度がとても高くて、とてもエレガントな音楽だと思います。桜庭氏の音楽の中で、トラスティベルよりも新鮮に感じました。
思い切って、おすすめします。

トラスティベルもようにオーケストラで音楽が奏でられていきます。トラスティベルと比べてより重厚で、なかなか聴き応えがあります。「一騎当千」などが自分は好きです。

オーケストラでも桜庭節は健在。オーケストラでここまで出来てしまう桜庭氏に思わず脱帽、という感じです。
