　Lullaby of Birdlandの入ったCDがあまりなく、聞いたこともないアーティストばかりだったのですが、試聴してみてよかったので買いました。WaveやSmile、またOver the Rainbowは有名でよく知っていましたし、Avalonも最近ホリー・コールのを聞いて知っていましたが、こちらのCDの方がよかったです。
　でも一番よかったのはAll the things you areです。この曲を今まで知らなかったのをすごく悔やんだくらい、すばらしいまたせつない歌です。試しに他の人の歌を聴いてみましたが、この中島紅音の歌の方がずっとよかったです。
　全体的に演奏もよく、上質なライブハウスで聴いているような気分にさせてくれるよいCDです。

第一印象は、どの歌手も声がきれいだということ。
透明感のある、スッキリした歌声。
それだけにあっさりし過ぎている感もある。
いままでしっとり系やハスキー系のヴォーカルを聴いてきたからだろう。

歌手によっては少し幼ささえ感じるかわいらしい声だ。
ジャズを歌うにはもう少し年齢と経験を重ねることが必要かもしれない。

それにしても、現代のジャズシンガーはみんな美人で美声ですな。

Beingが最近力を入れている、JAZZボーカリストのCDのおいしいとこ取りしたコンピレーションアルバム。
それぞれのアーティストに特徴がありますが、全員歌の巧い事！
Being系か・・・と思って聴いていたら痛い目にあう事間違いなしです。
CDの価格が安いので、お試しに買ってみるのも一興かと思います。おススメの1枚です。
