監督リチャード・ドナー、脚本クリス･コロンバス、製作総指揮スティーブン・スピルバーグ
で贈る冒険映画の傑作。
20年以上前の作品だが、新鮮味をもって家族揃って安心して楽しめる良作。

画質面はまずまず。
シーンによっての差が感じられ、アップの画では概ね良好。
素材の古さ故か、全体的には輪郭が甘くヌルリとした印象はある。
さすがにやや退色気味で、発色は控えめに感じる。
後半にかけての見せ場は概ね良好で、大いに楽しめる。

音声は英語TrueHD5.1chで収録。
音楽･効果音等のサラウンド部分に関しては、広がりもあり十分。
ただ、台詞部分は涸れており、こもりがち。時折、割れてしまう感も受けた。

特典はおそらくDVD版と同等の内容だが、大人になった出演者たちの和気藹々としたコメント映像もあり楽しい。

期待以下でも、期待以上でもなく。あくまで相対的な印象だが、製作年代を考えれば満足感もあり、十分にコレクションに加える価値があった。

映像特典でキャストにによる音声解説が入っていますが、成長したキャストが実際に映像を観ながら解説を行っています。成長した彼らが当時のエピソードをまじえての解説は面白かったですよ。

80年代を代表する、冒険映画です。自分たちの町を家を乗っ取りから救おうと少年達が立ち上がります。その為にいちかばちか、宝探しに出して宝を見つけて町を救をうとする最近では全く無くなってしまった友情感動映画です。全体的に乗りがよく挿入歌の（グーニーズはグッドイナフ）の名曲で映画にドンドンのめり込みます。少年達のキャラが立っていて全員に感情移入でき、宝探しの間も色々な仕掛け、罠をみんなで協力して掻い潜り最後まで飽きさせない上手な作りになってます。スタンドバイミーで感動した方なら十分楽しめます。ブルーレイになった際に気になるのは、吹き替え版が全種類収録されるかです。ＤＶＤ発売時は新録でしたがTV初回の吹き替えが、ファンには一番の、お気に入りなので入れてもらいたいです。又は初回吹き替え完全収録版なども有ればパーフェクトだね。
