4.0 out of 5 stars 輪廻の果ては、安らぎなのか、無念の情なのか・・・・・・。, 2009/2/20
　今回は、人生に疲れた若い女性が、安楽死をするために、夜行列車極楽行に乗り、その行き先々での体験、この世への恨みつらみを唄にしたコンセプト・アルバム。
　
　テーマとしては特に斬新というわけではないですし、曲調も、昨年、一昨年から5ヶ月間連続シングルの発売、「呪恋」のアルバム発売もあってか、ややマンネリ化してきているようにも思いました。
　また、主人公が安楽死したいと思っても、一筋縄ではいかず、何がしかのアクシデントが起こる状況（夜行列車に時限爆弾が仕掛けられ、案の定、爆死する）等、どんな展開になるか先が読めてしまうところも否めません。

　ですが、列車が疾走しているかの如くのアップテンポのギターワークやドラムは爽快です。そして何より彼らのクォリティの高さが平凡なことを非凡に感じさせてくれるところが、スゴイ！としか言いようがありません。序章から早速の、凶子さんのウェットな美声の語りも健在で、思わず洗脳されてしまいそう。
　あと、今回は情次２号さんのボーカルも聴くことができます。アルバムの真ん中辺りということもあり、ハイライトとなるでしょう。情次さんも表現力が豊かで、歌唱力もある方なので、非常に魅力的です。ただ、これは私の単なる偏見かもしれませんが、「Ｙou Jast a・・・ロンリー･ガール」という歌詞には、引いてしまいました（笑）。このアルバムのテーマや時代背景からすると、決して時代錯誤じゃないんだけど、犬神様が歌うと、なぜか時代錯誤的です。英語じゃないロックン・ロールがミソだと思っていた私には、ちょっと意外でした。

　でも、犬神ワールドは唯一無二で、最後まで一気に聴いてしまいます。ラストの新生児の泣き声が、この世に生を受けたものの無常さを物語っているようで、名状しがたい余韻に浸りました。

今回もやってくれましたね!理屈抜きで最高、おちも犬神らしくアレンジ力は本当に天才だなと思います。幸福者には犬神の良さはわからないかも、世の中に恨みをもってる人、絶望してる死にたい人には癒しのアイテムとなるでしょう☆
