内容紹介

アンジェラの新曲は、全国津々浦々、老若男女に届ける「手紙」。
オリコン1位を獲得したセカンドアルバム「TODAY」のリリースから1年、アンジェラ・アキが始動します。今回のシングルは「手紙」。アンジェラが10代の時に実際に書いた「未来の自分への手紙」からインスパイアされた楽曲です。NHK合唱コンクールの課題曲として書き下ろされたこの曲は、5月のNHKドキュメンタリーの放送を受け、10代を中心にすでに感動の輪が広がっています。8月からは『みんなのうた』の放送が始まり、9月にはNHKドキュメントの第2弾が予定。全国津々浦々、老若男女を巻き込み、普遍的な楽曲になること必至です。

「手紙〜拝啓十五の君へ」は、誰にも言えない悩みを未来の自分に語りかける若者からの手紙と、その手紙を受け取った"未来の自分"からの手紙の遣り取りを歌にしたものです。若者の素直な問いかけに、"未来の自分"から、力強く慈愛に満ちた「自分を信じて進め」という内容のメッセージが送られます。メッセージ（歌詞）がとにかく素晴らしいです。
　「人生のすべてに意味があるから、恐れずにあなたの夢を育てて」
　「いつの時代も悲しみを避けて通れないけど、笑顔を見せて今を生きていこう」
　人生にはいい事ばかりとは言っていません。すべてを受け止めて自分らしく進め、それが自分の存在価値の発見や生きる自信につながり、道を切り開くことができる。彼女のメッセージは非常に深く、まさに多くの大人が人生を振り返り子供たちや後輩に力を込めて贈りたい言葉でもあるのだと思います。
　曲前半の「２人の自分」の構えない自然な遣り取りは大人であっても心の琴線に触れるものがあり、じっと聴いていると熱い物がこみ上げてきます。対して後半の躍動するメロディーは若者の希望や夢の実現をイメージさせる力強いもので、聞いた後には爽快感が残ります。
　近年屈指の全世代が共感できる名曲です。日本はもちろんできれば訳詞をつけて世界のスタンダードになって欲しいと願います。

「手紙〜拝啓　十五の君へ」を何度聴いたことか!!聴けば聴くほど心の奥に染み入る。アンジーの曲は実話を基に作られた曲が殆んどだそう。これほどまでに人の心を揺さぶるアーティストは稀だと思います。
「FinalDestination」は、恋も仕事も"ハンドル"を握るのは自分自身。叶えたい夢に向って’目的地’へ車を走らせる。そして今夜は高速を走らせ彼の元へ、一番落ち着くのはやっぱり彼の腕の中、。可愛いらしい歌詞。
「Still　Fighting It」はベンフォールズのカバー。繊細なタッチから鍵盤を叩きつける荒々しいプレイまでこなすアーティストだそうです。なんだかアンジーと似ています。悩みを抱える息子に優しく背中を押す父親像が浮かぶ歌詞です。

（9／19追加）「続　手紙　拝啓十五の君へ」を見ました。廃部寸前で二人だけの合唱部、長崎県の離島の合唱部、前回から縁のある西宮市甲陵中学の合唱部の、計三組のコンクールに挑む姿を放送。今回も涙、涙の嵐!!西宮の中学生は一回り心が成長し強くなっていたのが印象的でした。
最後の場面、大阪城ホールは圧巻。
大阪すみよし少年少女合唱団と共に、観衆1万4千人と「手紙」を大合唱。
観客の席にある黄色い封筒の中には「手紙」の歌詞が書かれた便箋。その裏には、未来の自分へ手紙が書けるように工夫がされていました。

感動をありがとう！この曲未来へ繋げていきたい！
未来のあなたが幸せなことを願います。

息子の合唱コンクール(学校)で初めて聞き、調べてみると
このCDにたどり着きました。

アンジェラさんの歌声と、うしろのピアノのバランスがよく、気持ちいいです。
また、歌詞が語りかけてくるような感じで、心に残ります。

最近、疲れてるな、と思っている人に特におすすめです。
