リジョンコード１ですので、このまま国内の家庭用一般DVDプレイヤーにいれても
見れませんが......書店のコンピューターコーナーの「DVDなんとか」の１０００円ぐらいの
タイトルの雑誌などを買えば、いくらでもこのDVDが家庭で楽しめる方法が載ってますので参考にしてみては？

ちなみにこのDVDは日本と同じNTSC方式ですので、問題はリジョンコードだけです。私は昨年までイギリスに住んでましたので、たくさんの過去のウインブルドンの試合や番組のDVDを持ち帰りましたがイギリスは画像がPAL方式なので、日本の一般の再生機では駄目なのです。

この公式DVDの素晴しいところは、BBCからの試合放送そのままにNTSC方式でアメリカから発売
されているところです。

私は去年の2007年の試合を英国で録画したDVDが、PAL方式で日本のプレイヤーでは見れなかったので全く同じ映像をNTSC方式で買うことができて非常に助かりました（２００７年分）

このシリーズは英国での、BBCによるコマーシャル中断などが一切無い形の忠実な試合の記録、そのままで試合から表彰式、インタビューまで余すところなく記録されているのです。

日本ではNHKでチャンネルが変わったりしましたし、WOWOWは非常に稚拙な解説で再び見るのに
気分が悪いので、こちらのDVDが手に入ることができて非常に嬉しいです。永久保存版にお勧めです。

　ナダルがセンターコートに大の字になったとき、辺りにはまもなく沈もうとする夕陽が差し込んでいた。
雨による中断をはさんで実に5時間に及んだ2008年のウィンブルドン。遂に芝の王者フェデラーがナダルに屈した。

　年初に病にかかり、思うように練習も出来ぬまま望んだ全豪オープンはジョコヴィッチに破れ、全仏もナダルに４連覇を許した後のウィンブルドン。W.レンショー以来の、歴史的な６連覇がかかったこの決勝にかけるフェデラーの思いは、誰よりも強かったはず。しかし、フェデラーより５歳若いナダルの驚異的な進化は技能面にとどまらず、頭脳面（精神面）にまで及んでいた。
　
　執拗なまでにサーブではフェデラーのボディを狙い、決してフォアに回らせない。バックハンドに苦しんでいたフェデラーの状態を知って、ナダルは徹底的に攻め上げ２セット連取した。ところが、フェデラーはここから想像できないような巻き返しに出た。怒濤の２セット奪取。しかも、タイブレークを制してだった。

　そして、運命のファイナルセット。互いにキープが続き、7-7。体力的にはフェデラーの上をゆくナダルが、相手のあらゆる引き出しを開けさせることに成功する。フェデラーはギリギリのところで今日最初のパッシングショットが決まり、再びもつれ込むか？と思わせたが、作戦を最後まで曲げなかったナダルが、フェデラーの体力の限界まで追い込み、ついにフォアハンドがネットにかかった。

　この激闘。なぜ、オールリージョンにしない？！

全試合ノーカットですので、選手の気持ちの移り具合まで良くわかります。長い試合ですが、2枚のDVDに収まり、見飽きることはありませんでした。Region１であることだけが注意点ですね。
