「Secret Code」ビッグバンドで編曲された、ゴージャスな曲です。
でも各楽器がうるさくなり過ぎずにそれぞれの役割をしっかり果たしているのは、プロの仕事ですね。
多分、ＰＶによって好き勝手演奏してるようなイメージに錯覚させられてる（笑）

この曲を友人といる時流すと
「今までのKinkiと違うね」というリアクションがよく返ってきます。

確かに「misty」や「99%LIBERTY」等これまでもjazz調の名曲はあるけれど、シングル位でしかKinkiに触れないリスナーには、とても斬新みたいです。

もちろんkinkiのシングルは常に一定以上のクオリティを持った曲ばかりですが、
最近は「あぁ、今回も良い曲だなぁ」位にしか思わないことも多かったので...
僕自身Kinkiのシングルで久しぶりに「リリースが楽しみ」と思える曲でした。

カップリングの「Fu Fu Fu」は音の響きを重視した歌詞が軽やかで、
「Secret code」が星空なら、こちらは青空が似合います。
アレンジもどことなく懐かしい。B albumやC albumの頃を思い出します。
ただ、歌声は今の艶っぽい声なので、そのギャップが面白いかも。

タイトル曲のLive Versionまで入って、満足の充実度。
ここまで「攻め」の姿勢を感じられるシングルは久々で、とても楽しい一枚です！

１回目に聴いた時は「バリバリに踊ってくれたのは大歓迎だけど、曲としてどうだろう・・」と実感が湧かなかったのですが、２回目からは聴けば聴くほど好きになっています。　キンキのアルバムをよく聴かれている方はご存知かと思いますが、結構メロディーやアレンジに半端じゃなく凝った曲が多いじゃないですか？　ああいう感じがお好きだったらバッチリな気がします。　
私は常々初回限定盤しか買わないのですが、今回はうっかり通常盤まで予約してしまいそうです。約１年ぶりの新譜ですしね！最近まあ相変わらずファンだけど流石に１０年以上やってるとテンションも・・・という感じだったのですが、やっぱりキンキはいいです！　常にちゃんとしたクオリティーものを聴かせ、見せてくれますから。

ラジオでCD音源を聴きました。
このカッコイイ曲をただカッコイイだけでなく、こんなに色っぽく切なさもこめて歌えるのは、KinKiの二人ならでは！！でしょう。それぞれのソロ部分も声がメロディーと詩に合っていて、この曲をさらに表情豊かにしています。
もちろん演奏もかっこいい！クオリティー高し！
是非、フルで聴いてみてください。
