物には需要と供給の関係があるので、現状ＢＤソフトが少し高めなのは仕方がない。でもって、本作を含めて邦画の名作・旧作もどんどんＢＤ化されていくだろう。問題はその中身で、膨大な容量を誇るＢＤなのに邦画のそれはほとんどが「本編のみ」の収録であることだ。しかし、そもそもＤＶＤ登場時も「風と共に去りぬ」だって本編+予告編のみのパッケージだったことを考えれば、東宝もまだ様子見なのかもしれない。ジャケットは大変にカッコいいので、本当にＢＤプレイヤー保有者が少ないと見越してのコレクターズジャケット仕様だということ。購入する側としてはその選択肢があるので、ＤＶＤの２枚組を持っていれば特典はそちらをどうぞ、ということなので、自分はＤＶＤ本編は車用にした。内容そのものはもう５つ星なので、本編をより綺麗に観たい方にはお勧めである。その割にちょっと画質が物足りないかな、とは思うが（笑）。
