今よく売れてるアイコムIC-4008Wは　5年前の製品ですが、こちらは2008年7月に出たばかり。


スペックとして
IPX5（旧JIS保護等級5防噴流形相当：ホースから直接噴流を浴びせても動作に影響がない構造）相当の防水性能。
単3乾電池1本、アルカリ電池なら30時間運用可能。
単信20ch＋中継27chのフルチャンネルに対応。
画面が大きくて見易く操作が簡単。
オプションが豊富。

アイコムIC-4008Wに比べ、値段は数千円高いですが、防水性能が1個上、電池も3本が→1本でいける。アンテナも固定タイプなので丈夫でしっかりしてます。
日本橋の無線屋で購入しました。
