音がほぼ聞こえないほど静かで、長時間に渡って使用しても低温のままです。
まだ買って間もないのですが今のところ順調に動作しております。

e-sata外付けの裸族のお立ち台で使用していますがとても静かで良いです。温度はそこそこ上がっています（待機時で40℃くらい）。

PCに内蔵するとCaviar Greenに比べると結構温度が上がりますが、PCIexpressカード対応のeSATAボードを増設してLogitec LHR-DS02SAU2RDに内蔵すると、静かであまり高温にならず高速になり快適です。
