今作は、既に4月からOAされている「モード学園CMソング(東京・大阪・名古屋・パリ)」の08年度CMソング!タイトルは「How Do I Survive ?」、歌詞には強い意志と個性で現代をサヴァイヴしろ!というメッセージが込められ、Superflyの本質、魅力である洋楽を通ったロックサウンドが前面に出た楽曲です。カップリングには表題曲とは対照的な、志帆作詞作曲のバラードを収録。またシングル恒例の洋楽カバーも収録、今回はブルースをベースにしたブリテッシュロックバンドFREEの「My Brother Jake」をSuperfly流にアレンジ!
志帆は「How Do I Survive ?」でギター、「Perfect Lie」でピアノと、ボーカリストとしてだけでなくプレイヤーとしても参加し新たな才能を発揮している。

待ってましたよ!!!!!今ノックアウトされてきました!!!!?!??

今作は志帆ちゃんの魅力がフル発揮されてますね!すこぶる耳なじみのいいギターリフ、骨太
でうなるビートとすべてが彼女の歌声にマッチですよ。そしてよりパワフル強力になった
歌声がたまらん!窓も震える迫力で腹の底から痛快です!!この歌声に惚れたんですよねぇ、、
一度惚れたら最後やみつきですよ＾＾

歌詞はまんま強引さが好いです（笑）、僕も強引に行きたくなりました!!とりあえず
長くゆるやかな坂道よりも、急でも短い方を選ぶことにします（自宅近辺の諸事情、、）。

強力デビュー盤のヒットで、一躍2008を代表する、時の人となったSuperfly。
カンパツ入れずにはやくも新ステージの始まりの鐘を鳴らす、ネクストSingle到着でっす☆

まず一言で言えば、守りに入らなくて良かったなぁ。というコト。
♪愛を込めて花束をといったあったかい系のナンバーで名をあげ、AlbumがチャートNo.1を獲得!
そうなると、守りに入り、ひたすらリスナーに媚びるようなやらしいアプローチに移行し、
結局古くから支えてきたコアファンは置き去り。
というパターンってやっぱりあると思うんですが、
特別心配はしてなかったケド、だからこそ彼らはファンを裏切らなかったコトはナイス。
それでいていい意味で、こういう感じでやってくれるのね?という心地よい裏切りがある。
つまり嬉しさでイッパイな訳です♪

まさに“攻め”なスタイル!
激しさを、つよくアッパーに響かせつつ
しかしそれでも、暫くセールスの心配はいらなくなったからなのか“余裕”も感じられて
そのへんのコントラストがSuperflyらしくもあって、非常に面白い。
しほちゃんのボーカリゼーションももはや安心と感動的の域。
Superflyに求めるべきすべてのニーズが詰まった、文句なんて冗談じゃないぐらいの仕上がり。

夏はまだまだ終わらせない。

東京モード学園のコマーシャルと着うたで拝聴しただけで、レビューだなんて
冷静じゃないかも知れないから、商品説明としての機能はないかも知れないケド
それぐらい、センセーショナルだったって話なので。

まだまだSuperflyは、落ち着かない。
ブームなんかじゃ終わらせない。

CMで既に流れているこの曲。How Do I Survive ?
テーマになっている「昨日の私と思うなよっ」のセリフは
志帆さんが担当しているそう。
マキシなので、2曲目の新曲にわくわくしつつ、カバーの「My Brother Jake」も出来が楽しみです。
最近では珍しい、“CDを買いたくなるアーティスト”のひとりです。

60〜70年代のテイストを今風に、とてもかっこよく表現してくれてます。
きれいな足裏のその証？？
Hi-Fiveの大ヒットの後、小細工なしで“本気のナンバー”を出すところが
Superflyのかっこよさです。
おすすめ必聴！！
