Album Details

Two Discs of 26 songs by Within Temptation & the Metropole Orchestra for their 2008 album Black Symphony. This includes a Bonus DVD. Within Temptation is a six piece female fronted Rock band hailing from Holland. They are a huge international success with over 2 million albums sold worldwide. Within Temptation's most ambitious staging to date, Black Symphony was a unique concert at Rotterdam's Ahoy Arena on February 7, 2008 sold out months in advance. Within Temptation performed to 10,000 fans with the 60-piece Metropole Orchestra and a 20-voice classical choir, as well as on-stage stilt performers, costume changes, and an array of stunning pyrotechnic and lighting effects. The colossal production extended to Europe's largest video screen reaching across the entire width of the stage,and 14 full HD cameras.. Roadrunner. 2008.

ヴォーカルが安定感抜群で安心して聴けます。
何よりも、DVDが素晴らしいです!ファンなら絶対買いでしょうね。
私は輸入盤を買いましたけど、DVDは日本仕様のXbox360で再生できました(*^-^)b

タイトルにもあるようにバンドとMetropoleオーケストラが競演した地元オランダでのライブ
オーケストラとクワイアがバンドの楽曲をより深く、大きくしているし、ゲストと競演している3曲ではその曲ごとにステージで競演。
シャロン嬢の衣装も華麗でステージングもすばらしい。

EURO版、日本版（発売無期延期）で仕様が違うがUS版はライブCDとDVD（フルセット収録、バックステージ等ボーナス有）とシンプルながら、内容的には十分なのでこれでもよいかと。
ベスト版代わりにもなる内容だ。
DVDは日本でも再生可

WTの音楽はもちろんの事、シャロンの声や容姿が好きです。サイレントフォースのライヴも良かったけど、これは格別!待ちきれずに輸入盤を買いましたがオーケストラ付きで迫力あり良いですよ。イントロからして最高!ヒット曲のオンパレード!シャロンの声に癒されます。歌詞を見ながら楽しみたいので日本盤が欲しいのですが、また発売延期してしまうか心配です。輸入盤のようにCD二枚付き完全盤でぜひとも日本盤発売してほしいです!
