ノーマルモードにキャラバンモードもある各作品なので十分ボリュームあります。
それでこの価格ですから今まで発売されてた様々なメーカーのSTGの詰め合わせのソフトの中でももはや最高峰なのではないでしょうか?
当時を知る人は勿論、まったく知らない人でも楽しめる事と思います。

『スターパロジャー』は4本の中ではギャグ満載なのもアクセントとしては良い感じなのでは*^_^*
(STGとしてはちゃんと作られてるのでその点も見逃せません)

PCエンジン全盛時代を築いた名作STG4本セット。
Sスターソルジャーがやや難度は高めですが完成度は一番ですね。
ファイナル、ブレイド、パロはゲームバランスが良く、ノーミス前途で進むようなキツイ場面もありますが、ボス戦さえしっかりパターンを覚えてしまえば通常モードの難度は低め。昔からのファンだけではなく、未経験の方でも現在主流の弾幕タイプではないの古いSTGに興味のある方でしたらこちらの方は幅広い層にオススメできます。

プレイ中はRボタンですぐに画面サイズを切り替えられ、PCエンジン実機同様にスタート＋セレクトでタイトル画面にすぐ戻せたりと便利ですが、ボタン操作関係は□×ボタンがショット、（□が連射）△○ボタンが特殊攻撃という感じで固定され、セレクトボタンによる自機の速度切り替えもPSPではやりにくく、ボタンコンフィグができないのが不便でした。

　おそらく、この作品を知らないで買う人は少ないと思います。私は、個人的に、スーパースターソルジャーが一番デキが良いと思います。ソルジャーブレイド・ファイナルソルジャーは、「敵やボスが突然突っ込んできて死ぬ。」というパターンが多いのが、残念。また、昔のゲームですから、コンテニューは、当然面の最初から。突っ込むところは満載ですが、オリジナルの家庭用シューティングとしては、合格点です。覚えないと、クリアは難しいです。死んで、覚えて、クリアして、のサイクルでがんばらないといけません。
　あと、おまけでついている高橋名人の攻略が、「良く見てよけましょう」とか「がんばってよけましょう」とか、精神的な？アドバイスの攻略なのが、笑えました。もうちょっと、実戦的な攻略をしてっ！と、思わずつっこみたくなります。
　この勢いで、ガンヘッドやスプリガンシリーズ、ダウンロードシリーズなど（分かる人は分かる）PCエンジンの良作シューティングを、PSP化して欲しいです。
