アーティストについて
生駒祐子(アコーディオン)と、清水恒輔(コントラバス)による室内楽ユニット。 これまでに「Gala de Caras」をはじめ3枚のオリジナルアルバム、コラボレーションアルバム6枚を発表。世界各地の様々な空間─古い劇場、美術館、石畳の広場、客船、寺院、カフェなど、ある種の質感を湛えた場所での演奏を重ねている。聴く者の内に様々な世界を描きだす自由な音楽と、それぞれの空間の響きの中で丁寧に音を紡いでいく、たおやかなパフォーマンスは各地で絶賛され、映画、舞台等、様々なジャンルのクリエイターとの共同制作も多い。近年、生駒のソロアルバム「esquisse」(2007)、パフォーマンス「esquisse, esquisse」(2007 graf, 原美術館他)、カヴァーアルバム「Moisture with Music Box(手廻しオルゴールで聴くエリック・サティ)」(2008)の発表、金沢21世紀美術館「タレルの部屋」や、ひっそりと佇む廃墟などにおける「とある空間のための作曲と演奏」を経ながら、彼らの豊かな世界はさらに深まり、聴くものを惹きつけている。 2008年8月には、ゲストにGak Sato(テルミン)、井登友一(トロンボーン)、トウヤマタケオ(ピアノ)、栗原務(ドラム)ら、極上の音楽家を迎えて録音された、待望の新作アルバム「Fragrance of Notes」を発表。
