　自分がプレイした三国志シリーズの中で結構遊びました。
全武将システムなので、どんな身分の武将でも気に入った武将で遊べるというのがいいです。

ただ、人間関係のシステムですが、これは８の方が格段に良かったです。
例えば仇敵に遭遇した場合、８なら選択肢で行動を選べたのですが、１０では有無を言わさず一騎打ちになってしまいますので、あまり面白みもありません。
他にも義兄弟のメリットや、会話イベントの種類等も８の方が豊富です。
これらがこの１０にも採用されていたらもっと良かったのですが・・・。

もう一つ残念なところというと、やはりCPUの悪さと戦役ですね・・・。
自勢力の（プレイヤーのいる都市以外の）都市が他勢力に攻め込まれた場合、それなりに防備を固めていてもほとんどの確率で負けます。
バランスが悪いので、これはちょっと・・・と思います。
戦役もとにかく操作性が悪く、めんどくさいです。やたら時間がかかるしやっていてイライラします。これは無い方が良かったです。

パワーアップキットの場合、ある程度は編集できますから、テンポの悪さも多少補えると思います。
ただ、追加機能である武将編集の使い勝手が悪いです。
まず武将を個別に元データへ初期化出来ない（全編集武将の初期化しかできない）です。あと新武将の場合、誕生年が編集できません。
新武将編集データとはまったく別となっているので、編集の際ややこしいです。

個人的には今作は結構好きなのですが、いくつか惜しいところがありますね・・・。

「９PK」の次に「１０PK」を購入。
第一印象は「９PK」の方が良い、「１０PK」に慣れるのに時間が掛かった。
良い点
・戦闘−野戦、攻城戦は何回やっても飽きずにできる。
（ただし、市街戦は無意味だし、弓兵系＋兵器で圧勝過ぎるのもチョット･･）
・イベントが豊富
・舌戦−初モノにしては結構楽しめる

悪い点
・戦役−今いち馴染めず途中でリセット
（時間が掛かり過ぎる、地味、面白味無し）
・決裁−君主、都督にとっては良い迷惑
（太守のみ可能にすれば良い、君主が夜盗退治って･･日数の無駄使いしなくちゃいけない）
・本拠地と直轄都市−自勢力内の都市を自由に使えない
（委任しても遊び惚けてやがる、内政向上なのに兵士バンバン増強する）
・ＣＯＭの弱いところ
（戦争挑めば負ける事は無いし、逆に自勢力のＣＯＭ太守はほとんど負けて領地と武将を持っていかれる）
・義兄弟の血濃すぎ
（劉備軍勢が滅亡し３兄弟が別々の主君配下になっても、誰か一人居れば軽々登用成功）
・日数単位
（自分の子供を指導している最中や特技を教えてもらう為に師事を受けている２０日前後は、例えピンチになってもノータッチで世間は動く）
・マウス操作が結構疲れる

１０作目がコレか･･･って少しガッカリな印象、でも結局「魏・呉・蜀」の３回は天下統一する。
