Tahiti 80（タヒチ80）の4枚目のアルバム。

グザヴィエ（Vo）のソロ作品を経て3年半ぶりとなるアルバムである。
ライブ感を活かす為、わずか3ヶ月で制作された作品との事。

その制作のスピード感同様に、たしかに今作では非常にストレート、かつ、いつになくスピード感が溢れる作品となっている。
その反動でTahiti 80独特の捻くれ感が少々薄い気がするのは残念ではあるが、どんなにロック的な曲であっても結果的にタヒチ色に染まってしまうのが彼等らしさといえるのだろう。
（捻くれ感が薄いという点についてはドラムのシルヴァンが耳に問題を抱えた事によりバンドの演奏には参加できない状態となった事にも一因があるかもしれないが）

今までのアルバムと比較した上で明らかに違いを感じる曲の代表曲としては一曲目の「24 X 7boy」が挙げられると思う
（個人的には）クラッシュを連想させるリフから完全にロックテイストで開始されていながら、サビ部分ではしっかりとタヒチ節が炸裂する佳曲。

前半は快速で、中盤はゆったりといった感じでストレートでありながらも、それなりの緩急があるアルバムで聴きやすいアルバムに仕上がっていると思う。

どんなアプローチをしても決して裏切らなかった彼らに、初めてがっかりさせられた作品。ライブ感溢れるシンプルな演奏は新鮮ながらも、彼らに僕が求めるものではなかったです。「らしさ」や「何をやってもタヒチ色」が薄れてしまってます。ポップだし決して悪くはないですが、特別な存在では無くなってしまいました。

その場の偶発性を重視し、たった3ヵ月で制作されたというタヒチ流R&Rアルバム。心地よい熱の宿るカラッとドライな演奏に、湿度の高いグザヴィエの歌声が滲むような構図だ。そんななか、雨色ソフト・ロックの5は絶品。興奮に汗ばんだ耳をしっとりとクール・ダウンさせてくれる。
