よく似たGRDIIにするかと迷ったあげくGX200にしました。
GRDIIの単焦点で割り切った高画質という宣伝文句に惹かれたのですが、引きのとれない室内撮影からローアングルでのマクロ撮影と幅広い使い方のできるGX200の広角寄り24〜72ミリというズーム機能が捨てきれませんでした。
結果はGX200にして正解だったと思います。
メーカーのGRDIIを売りたい戦略のためかカタログには書いてありませんが、広角側で2.4〜9.1、望遠側で4.5〜15.8と絞り値を変えることもでき、絞りもGRDIIとほぼ同様の７枚羽根なのでほぼ同等の画質が得られます。
また背面の液晶は46万画素あるので細かな文字などもくっきり表示させることができます。
機能変更のきかないフィルムカメラと違い、ファームウェアを更新することで機能をアップデートできるデジカメのメリットをメーカーも知っていて、こまめにアップデートしているから定期的にHPなどをチェックした方が良いと思います。
それとキャップはいざというとき面倒なので、LC-1キャップは必需品です。

半年くらい使用したので感想を

良い点
・広角24ミリが便利。
・露出補正・ホワイトバランス・ISO感度等を瞬時に変更可能。
・マニュアルで置きピンできるのでサクッと撮れて便利。
・ホワイトバランスを詳細に設定できるので便利。
・背面液晶が精細で綺麗。
・オプションのレンズキャップが素敵。

悲しい点
・VFを付けてある状態でぴったり納まるケースが純正品以外にあまりない。

いいカメラです。

このややレトロ感漂う以前のリコー機、HOLGA機のような風貌に惹かれて購入。
広角め24〜72mmズーム
7群11枚もあるレンズ
マクロ1cm
7枚羽根
美麗な液晶
シャッタースピード180sec〜1/2000
ISO1600
詳細に出来るマニュアル設定と、イイトコ取りの一機。
コアユーザーにもライトユーザーにも胸を張っておすすめします。
手に良く馴染むのでホールド感もしっかりしてていいです。

肝心のVFなのですが、ファインダー内は思ったより暗め&小さめで人によっては見づらく
使用用途が結構ニッチ(ローアングルや隙間を撮ったり)なので
まずはボディのみを購入して必要になったらVFを追加で購入などがいいと思います。
一部シグマ製等の光学ファインダーも使用できるので、それと掛け合わせても楽しいかもしれませんね。
