タランチュラ型＆武器パーツが豊富ということで購入しました。

グランチュラの脚に装甲をかぶせるというのは良いアイディアですね。
カラーリングも結構渋めでイイ感じです。

それと武器ランナーは同じものが2枚入っているので、他のゾイドに流用したり、あるいは全てを取り付けてみたりできます。
ある意味カスタマイズパーツもセットになっているようなものですね。
これは結構お得感があります。
またコックピットの装甲ハッチも2枚あるので、余った分をガリウスやカノントータスなどに付けてみるのも面白いかもしれません。

ただ、チタンスパイクが左右方向に傾いているのは気になります。
アタッチメントを組む際の凹凸が向きを固定するためにD型になっているのですが、何故かその向きが少しずれているんですよね。
これはどういう意図があるのか分かりません。
それと左側のキバの上側に、パーツ番号の20という数字が入っているのもやや微妙です。

とはいえ、これは遊び甲斐がありそうです。

ゾイドは動いてナンボと思っています。その点では、単純なアクションですが８本足の歩行は楽しいです。武装は武器パーツのＢランナーとジョイントパーツの含まれてるＣランナーがそれぞれｘ２枚入ってますので、エクスグランチュラ自体で色々と組み合わせることが出来ますし、他のゾイドやプラモに流用できそうでお得感があります。特にガトリングガン（？）のパーツ構成は中々のものです。が、個人的に一番欲しかったレドームなどの偵察機用パーツが（雑誌や商品説明の画像には映っていますが）本キットには付属してません。勝手な想像ですが、このキットの流用でガイザックが発売されたときに付属してくれればうれしいですが・・・

電撃ホビーマガジンの協力企画だけあって、デザインは秀逸です。現物は、試作品の写真よりも色合いがぐっと渋く調整されており、ミリタリーテイスト溢れるかっこいい機体に仕上がっています。コックピットのハッチは半透明の軽装型か、非透明の重装型のいずれかを選んで組み立てる仕様です。
ゼンマイを巻くと、8本脚をワシャワシャ動かして前進します。歩行+αの動作を期待していたのですが、動きそのものはグランチュラと同様です。その点、目新しさが無かったのは少々残念です。
しかし、それを補ってあり余る魅力が換装武器の豊富さです。高速キャノン砲、ハイブリッドガトリング砲、ミサイルポッド、パルスレーザーガン、小口径ガトリング砲、2連装&3連装衝撃砲…これらは全て2個づつ（左右セットで）付いてきます。まさに武器の出血大サービスと言ったところです。しかも、どれも本当に良く似合うんですよね！本商品のエクスガイサック化を希望するユーザーの声も聞きます。ただやはり、これらの重火器はガイサックよりもグランチュラの体型の方が重戦車っぽくて、しっくりくると自分は思います。余った武器パーツは他の様々なゾイドに装着して楽しむ事ができます。
これは、RCZシリーズの中でも、おすすめできる機体だと思います。
