特に、「天空のスプライト」を強く推したい。


あれは春と夏の狭間だった。
「あの街」を愛し、ともに集った僕たちを、突如襲った悲劇。
僕たちはヲタクは、楽しい思いばかりでなく、
どうしようもなく辛い思いまで、共有することになった。

この曲のモチーフとなったのは、
ほぼ間違いなくあの、痛ましい出来事だろう。
きっと桃井はるこ自身は、「そうだ」とは語るまい。
これまでもそうだったように。


まるで自分が傷んだような、彼女の苦しい思いは、
献花台で祈り、ブログで心情を吐露した末に、
この曲を生み出すに至ったのだ。


「辛くても前に進もう」


歌が示すメッセージはシンプルだ。
心が折れそうなほどの、辛い出来事があっても。
一瞬のスプライトが輝くように、道が啓示される瞬間がある。
それを信じて、前へ進んでいこう、と。

そして、ともすれば風化してしまう記憶への戒めとして、
彼女は「君を忘れない」と歌う。
そう、僕らは決して忘れない。忘れてはならない。
同じ時代を生きた、彼ら、彼女らのことを。


2008年晩夏。
歌は、想いは、まっすぐに空へ駆け上がる。

収録曲は
1.Feel so Easy! 　　テレビアニメ「MISSION-E」エンディングテーマ
2.天空のスプライト　ラジオ「桃井はるこの超モモーイ」第3期エンディングテーマ
のダブルタイアップです。

「Feel so Easy!」は、MISSION-EのEDで、新ビリビリガールズ（？）が下着っぽい
ワンピースのスカートの端を持ちながら踊るという、なかなかエロティックな映像
が付いているので、映像ともども楽しみたい作品です。
しかし、それがライブで演るとなると大盛り上がりの楽曲になるという桃井さんな
らではの仕様になっていて、アニサマでの「Feel so Easy!」は最高でした。
カラオケは、「DAM」には入っているのですが、「JOY SOUND」は未対応です。

「天空のスプライト」は、「高く、高く、たーかく」のフレーズからの伸びやかな
歌声と、僕たちに向けられた（と勝手に解釈している）メッセージが嬉しいととも
に、なんか哀しさが秘められている感じがあります。
生歌はまだ聴けてないので、早くLIVEで聴きたいなと思っています。

残念なのはPVのDVD付きCDが発売されてない事ですね。いずれPV集は発売されるので
しょうが、それまで待つのはつらいです。

桃井さんの歌を聴いたことのない人にも聴いて欲しいと思います。
ＯＰ曲にしてもいいほどの｢Feel so Easy!｣、こころにひびく｢天空のスプライト｣。
カラオケも含めて、この一枚で最新のモモーイを心ゆくまで堪能できます。
