In 2006, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young reunited for the Freedom Of Speech Tour. In 2008, they premiere CSNY/Dj Vu, a feature-length documentary based on that controversial tour. But the only place to hear in their entirety the impassioned performances in the film is on CSNY/Dj Vu Live. A mix of CSNY classics and more recent antiwar material from Neil Young, CSNY/Dj Vu Live marks the return to the socio-political stage of David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash and Neil Young in a musical dj vu. 16 tracks.

ドキュメンタリーフィルムをベースにしたライブ・アルバムらしいが理屈なしで楽しく和める一枚である。「4WAY STREET」のような完成されたライブ・アルバムを期待したら肩透かしを食うかもしれないが、このメンバーがまた集結し、演奏し、歌う素晴らしさを理解できるのであれば、記念に一枚購入しても決して損はしない一枚だ。といっても、内容は政治や戦争を含むテーマもあるので、この夏自分なりにこのアルバムを聴きながら考えるのも良いかもしれません。失礼、ということで楽しくて和めるだけの作品ではありませんでした。

　最初はCSN&Yの”新作Live album”が出た・・・懐かしさも手伝って聴きました。

　sound track、それも反戦という強いメッセージを持った！

　今、米国の大統領選挙の真っ最中・・・・・。
