メモオフの3作目です。
1,2とは違い，主人公は大学生，恋愛要素も薄め，ヒロインたちが登場しないまま冒頭の30分以上が進む，絵柄も変化と今までのメモオフとは少し味付けが違う作品です。
そのため評価が賛否両論大きくわかれています。
メモオフシリーズとしてではなく新しい境地を開いた作品としてみると素晴らしい作品です。
いわゆるギャルゲーとは一味違う世界を楽しむことができます。

メモリーズオフシリーズで、最初にプレイしたのが、このゲーム。
賛否の激しい作品ではあるけれど、ドラマ性はシリーズの中でも高いものだと思う。
また、ダブルヒロインのような形をとっており、メインシナリオについては、ファンの間でも意見が分かれるという、シナリオの厚さもある。
攻略に関しては、シリーズ次作の「それから」より、かなり簡単。
アドベンチャーゲームの攻略で、いつも迷うというような人でも、オススメ。

世間では酷評を受けた今作わたしはありだった。
わたしの中でメモオフに期待してるものといえば、ありそうな設定とリアリィテーから生まれるドラマである。中途半端に終わってしまうキャラがいたのも事実であるがらしさは出ていたので有りだと思う。

ただキャラ分岐に入るまでの序盤が長い。
そして同じことを言ってるのに分岐に入るとスキップが効かない。
相変わらず、ギャグシーン（と思われる）が寒い。
絵は前の方が好みであった。

メモオフの主人公は、ヘタレであるのは定番である。今作の主人公ショーゴは作中にも出てくるように素直なヘタレである（わかり辛い表現かもしれないが）わたしの中で今作のポイントはここにある。
相変わらずどうしようもない主人公だが、彼の性格設定がまたこの作品のリアリティーを構築するのにかかせない存在であったと思う。

改良点はあるが、わたしは今作気に入った。
ちなみにわたしの評価は、2nd>3rd>1st>5th>4th である。
