アルバム以来初となる5枚目のシングルをリリースします。
今作は面白DVD『スキージャンプペアー』で一世を風靡した真島理一郎監督が
企画・総監督を務める映画『東京オンリーピック』の公式テーマソングに決定!
(※「オリンピック」は北京です。「オンリーピック」は東京です。)
オンリーピックとは、Only Picturesの略で、15人の映像界最高峰のクリエーター
が産み出す新しい競技の祭典です。例)ハンマー投げの要領で、親を投げ飛ばす競技
「男子親離れ」、ブランコから靴を遠くに飛ばす競技「ブランカー」
など笑える競技が盛り沢山。中川は、テーマソングの他、本編に茂木淳一と
共にゲスト解説としても参加。目が離せません。楽曲はそんな競技を後押しする応援歌!
7月にはアメリカでのライブも決定しており、しょこたん今年も輝き続けます。

6月8日、感動のフィナーレを迎えた彼女自身初の全国ツアー「貪欲☆まつり2008」のアンコールでも披露されたこの曲。

「東京ONLYPIC」のテーマソングにもなっている表題曲は、全体的に「Brilliant Dream」や「We can do it!!」のように前向きでポジティブな雰囲気を感じさせる仕上がりとなっている。

さらに約一ヶ月間に渡る全国ツアーを大成功に収めたことで、この曲の歌詞を乗せた彼女の歌声にはより一層の説得力が加わっており、そこに意外な迄の力強さを感じる。そこが前述の二曲と比べ格別に際立っている点であると思う。

未来を恐れず一歩踏み出すこと、それが「Shiny GATE」つまり輝かしい世界への門を開くことになる、それはまさにここ数年の間に彼女自身が身をもって感じたことではないだろうか。

だからこそ嘘っぽくならず、まっすぐ心に届く。



聴くだけでポジティブな気持ちになれる元気な曲、オススメです！星５つ！

ライブには１度も行ったことはないですが、「空色デイズ」以来、歌番組出演→ソロコンサート→ツアーと経験を重ねるうちにどんどん上手になっているのがわかります。
曲調によって微妙にトーンを変えつつ、しかも過剰に感情を込めることもなく、まっすぐに歌いこなすところがいいなぁと思います。スポーツ中継仕立てのPVも面白いですね。
c/wの２曲のうち「赤道小町ドキッ」は、オリジナルの香りを残すテクノ歌謡アレンジで、シンセドラムやパーカッションが鳴り響いてます。「ギザギザ」のところにちょっとエフェクトのかかったコーラスが乗るところに、ちょっぴり中川翔子版としての自己主張を感じます。

貪欲☆まつりで先取り、エキストラ出演でまた先取り☆
ライブで初めて聴いた時から大好きです。
アップテンポだし聴いてると元気が出てくる曲です。
『東京オンリーピック』の主題歌にふさわしい曲ですよ!
しょこたんファン以外の人も買って損はない曲です!!
