　映画の冒頭のアクションシーンを作ってまずは映画に観客を引き込むこの作り方は００７シリーズの最初の「お話の枕｣と共通です。しかし最近の００７はちゃんと後の話につながっていますが、このシリーズでは「３」以降まるで関係なし。さすがに「４」になるとメル・ギブソンもオジサン化してきています。話も「３」以降はストーリーがやや粗雑で、よりコメディ化してきているのは否めません。かろうじてジェット・リーが光っていたのが良かったです。ラストの２対１の決闘も数が多い方が有利に決まっていてちょっとジェット・リーに同情。
